Lmao, I feel the same way, he's a scary guy. The guy sparring with him was super short though, won't be the same with Jones.

That little guy at the end was funny. I think shogun beat him up just for fun. Shogun took advantage of his size to abuse on this small guy, hahahahahaha too funny

Why was Shogun sparring with a guy that looks like a WW ?

Jones is very tall , he should be sparring with heavyweights!

    and tall ones!

Plus what was that guy thinking sparring with Shogun with only gloves!

that knee could do some damage lol

That welterweight is his other striking coach lol

I'm not worried about Shogun. He'll be ready by fight night.

Man, he looks just as sharp as ever, and looks in great condition for this fight. Looks like he's recovered well from his surgery.

Throwing some vicious leg kicks and knees. He just demolished that guy at the end. I hope Jones is as well prepared as Rua is.

Hope Bones knows what he's getting himself into, Shogun is a different beast. Either way it should be a great contest of martial arts.

yeah, shogun is not going to back up like bader did which was a huge mistake because of jones reach. shogun is going to come at him aggresive and with good technique. as long as rua keeps it standing i dont see jones beating him

Shogun should have trained with JDS, Anderson and Machida for this fight...he mite have because hes done that in the past but if he didnt this time then I think that was a bad idea, espeically not training with Anderson, his body type is almost the same as Jones and has unorthodox striking

Rua did train with Junior Dos Santos for this camp. In fact, three out of his last four fights, Shogun has trained with Dos Santos. From what I hear, they have developed quite a relationship. When Junior needs help training, Mauricio offers his services and when Rua needs a good sparring partner, Junior is wherever Shogun is within 48 hours.

What's crazy is that Rua has trained with both Machida and Silva in the past. Things are, of course, different nowadays but the top Brazilian fighters usually train together at one point or another.

So far the Bad Boy team (Aldo and Dos Santos) is there for Mauricio.

Agreed, Junior is a very good Boxer. There were scheduling issues for Shogun and Dos Santos because of The Ultimate Fighter, but from what I heard Dos Santos brought in both Aldo and Rua for a few training sessions.

Shogun will batter Jones by Round 2. There is nowhere the fight can go where Shogun cannot win. With his level of striking and lethal kicks and punches, Jones is fecked plus if it goes to ground, what credentials does Jones have in jui jitsu or submission defense. He does not have the power to hurt Shogun and i think Shogun is far too experienced and massively under estimated on the ground to be in any serious threat from Jones' possible ground and pound.....I can't possibly see how Shogun can lose this fight. He is in peak condition now and when he ko'd the Machida 'Era' in round 1, he was far from peak fitness as he had only had his appendix removed 8 weeks prior. Come on Shogun, beat this punk and then show the world that Anderson Silva is beatable!

If you enjoy betting and you like Shogun Rua, the you must be loving this fight. This is not your average underdog; not by a long-shot. Rua could well end up being the smart bet, here.

He looks great. He looks and sounds like he's expecting a ground fight. And on there feet, although JJ is explosive, dynamic and all that...so is Shogun.

I really respect and appreciate both these fighters; I'm a fan of both. I have called JJ as the victor, but man, Vitor is looking good and motivated.

I cannot wait for this fight and again, this is not your average underdog, if you're thinking about betting this fight.

    ...Let's fight.

Man I had Jones winning this fight, seeing as Shogun is only just returned from knee surgery, and the last time he returned from knee surgery he got choked out by Griffin (however eight weeks before the second Machida fight he has his appendix removed), and Jones appears to be in great shape and is very 'confident'.

However after seeing this video I've changed my mind! Shogun looks in incredible shape. I've seen all of the Bad Boy Shogun training videos and he definatly looks the sharpest in this one. I feel for his training partners (whether they be welterweights or not) and Jones on fight night. He looks like the Shogun of old, the one from his Pride days. I really can't predict this fight, it's going to be so tough, I cannot wait to see a war!

Also, when is some of the gear that Shogun is wearing in this video coming out? Bad Boy are making some very flashy clothes now!
