Matt Hughes sought for Police Questioning following Barroom Altercation (Update)

According to TMZ, the former Welterweight Champion was involved in an altercation on April 23rd inside a Taylor Springs, Il. bar. Hughes is said to have began arguing with a fellow patron before a shoving match ensued, which allegedly led to a man being pushed into a female bystander. The women claims to have suffered a broken nose in the collision.
The local police are currently investigating the matter and say that attempts to reach Hughes by telephone have gone unsuccessful.
Hughes is expected to face Diego Sanchez at UFC 135 later this year. Whether or not the accusations will have any affect on the scheduled bout is unclear at this time. Stay tuned to LowKick.com for more information as it becomes available.

TMZ spoke with the Illinois State's Attorney ... who told us there was not enough evidence to prove the fighter committed a battery when he allegedly shoved another man into a female bystander at the Trails End Bar and Grill in Taylor Springs, IL.

Maybe you need to learn your bible "Mr. I'm a christian". Start with Luke 5:30-32 that will answer why Jesus spent time with sinners.

When they drank wine at the last supper doesn't mean Intoxicating wine was used.

Well, if he really did shove a guy into her and it broke her nose, he legally is responsible for her medical bill, possibly some pain and suffering. We are not talking millions of dollars though. No sane judge would award a ridiculous amount of money, just because Matt has the money. We are talking medical bills, and some small 4 figure number possibly for pain and suffering. Nothing major to worry about. Obviously it was unintentional, and the guy who was arguing with Matt could maybe be held partially responsible too since you are allowed by law to use "equal force" used on you. I.e. if the guy shoved Matt, he was within his rights to shove back.
