Mark Hominick looks back on UFC 129, eyes future matches with Josh Grispi, Chan Sung Jung
Posted on May 4, 2011, 11:48 PM by Joey SantosusFeatherweight contender Mark Hominick, who failed to dethrone division Champion Jose Aldo at UFC 129, talks about the match-up, as well as what's next for him in his fighting career. Hominick admits that he would be much more satisfied if he had won the belt, but says that he is glad that he got the opportunity to show who he was both as a fighter and a person. The Canadian explains that he's not a fan of instant rematches and says he would like to fight "The Korean Zombie" Chan Sung Jung and/or Josh Grispi next.

i agree with mark on the instant rematch thing, it makes sense that after you lose a title fight you should go back and prove your worth by getting a couple of wins.
he didnt deserve a rematch reguardless
i think hominick would beat grispi, the chan sung jung fight would be alot more competitive after seeing his new approach to fighting in his last fight with Garcia.
It was a great fight and nobody has done that to The Champ, yet.
I love what Mark had to say about re-matches and that he didn't deserve one; that he has to earn his way back.
No excuses and no whining in this interview. He's just a great guy; a true professional.
LOL!
