Manager: Bigfoot Silva will be in the UFC "real soon"

“He has a contract with Strikeforce, but Strikeforce is now controlled by the UFC and we’re watching Strikeforce fighters going to the UFC all the time. UFC’s heavyweight division is big, but they could have even more, and I’m sure Bigfoot will be in the UFC real soon” - TATAME

According to his manager, Alex Davis, Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva may find himself pretty soon inside the UFC Octagon. Bigfoot was TKO'd by Daniel Cormier in the semi-final of Strikeforce Heavyweight GP, in what was his first defeat since the encounter with Fabricio Werdum back in 2009. Despite losing to Cormier, Bigfoot is still considered by many as one of the best Heavyweights on the planet. Former Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Shane Carwin could be a perfect opponent for Bigfoot in the UFC, for a clash of fighters who need to cut weight to fit into the 265lbs limit.

Big Foot is still a very strong fighter. I think, he just underestimated Cormier thinking about Overeem and Cormier is no joke! He had no idea what to expect from Cormier. Fighting with Carwin is a totally different mind set. He knows what Carwin can do to him, he is going to train TTD and striking. Carwin and Big Foot has no speed advantage, but Carwin hits harder.

So who's gonna be left over there? Gil is talking UFC. Overeem, Shields, Miller, Cung Le, and Diaz already jumped ship. So what's SF got now? Jacare, Barnett, Cormier, Rockhold(i guess), Kennedy. I mean, dont get me wrong, decent fighters and all, but hardly banner names. SF is singing it's swan song if ya ask me...

Nobody is going to be left because they are going to shut StrikeForce down like an old used car lot.

Lets all be honest here; Watch a UFC card then watch a Strikeforce card and try to convince me UFC isn't at least 30% better in all facets. Fights and fighter quality, Announcers and general promotion SF doesn't hold a candle to the UFC.

i don't see bigfoot winning the title any time soon, but there is some very good matchups for him in the ufc. most of you dumbass fans think that every fighter has to be the best to compete with the ufc. what about james toney? how many of you compainers bought that ppv? was toney ever going to have a chance for the title? but you bought it anyways didn't you? i think bigfoot still has a lot of suprises for the fans. i didn't knock him for losing to courmier, i instead gave courmier great respct for beating a good fighter. bigfoot is a real giant who happens to be a black belt in bjj, and you bjj practicioners no that is no joke, and big ass heavy hands to punish you with. every fighter the ufc signs doesn't have to be the next champion. just enjoy what they have to offer you entertainment wise.

If Big Foot doesnt outweigh you by at least 25-30LBS, then hge will probably kill you on a stand up or if he gets on top. He did that to Fedor nd every other match that he has won. Now if he meets someone with a little size and better hands than him, he will get knocked out like he did against Cormier....
