- The 100 Greatest Moments in UFC History (BleacherReport/MMA)

"At this point, it's safe to say the UFC's popularity is snowballing. Even that may be a mild analogy. With the UFC and its fighters finding newer and wider avenues into the mainstream seemingly every day, MMA's premier promotion is more like a magnet in a river of paper clips, or a molten ball of caramel careening down a mountain of chopped walnuts. You get the idea. These are heady times for the UFC."

- Gameplans For Surviving Fights with Movie Monsters (TheFightNerd)

"The following game plans assume the contest is held under the Unified Rules of MMA. While a fight between man and hellbeast might seem more suited for a Japanese promotion, these children of the night already have an existing fan base. The UFC would likely give them an attractive signing bonus to capitalize on the hype that most Japanese promotions may not be willing to spend."

- “Ask Dan” #1: Dan Severn Still Wants Coleman and Shamrock, Will Likely Retire Next Year (CagePotato)

"I want specific fights right now. I’ve had some verbal offers but haven’t had the opportunity to bring some of these matches to life. Two particular matches I’m still interested are ones with Mark Coleman and Ken Shamrock. Realistically, I think that 2012 will be my final year as an MMA competitor. So whatever gets done gets done; whatever doesn’t, I’ll have to learn to live with I guess."

- Zuffa Maintains “BB” Credit Rating, “Stable” is Key (MMAPayOut)

"UFC’s seven year TV deal with Fox Sports Media Group, replacing Zuffa’s current deals with Spike TV and Versus, offers more stable and favorable economics over the term of the TV deal in hope of potentially reducing Zuffa’s dependency on the more-volatile event based revenue."

- Miguel Torres Joins Ranks Of 'Blackzilians' Camp (FightLine)

"In shifting his training to Florida, Torres will now work with the likes of former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans, Anthony Johnson and Matt Mitrione. Torres (38-4) has gone 1-1 since the WEC folded into the UFC, defeating Antonio Banuelos before falling to Demetrious Johnson. He is 2-3 in his last five fights overall."

- The Cut List: Who's in Desperate Need of a Win at UFC 138? (MMAFighting)

"A UFC event in the U.K. means two things: 1) lots of griping from American fighters (and UFC executives) about the food, and 2) a card full of local blokes, European imports, and some other fighters just barely holding on to their UFC contracts. That mix of desperation and nationalism often makes for memorable fights, but it also means that there are a few fighters on the UFC 138 lineup who are facing must-win scenarios."

- Joe Rogan: If NASCAR’s not a monopoly, UFC isn’t either (and they should buy K-1) (FightOpinion)

"You know, people always say that the UFC is a monopoly, you know, they’re actually being even investigated by someone, Federal, Federal Trade, FTC, Federal Trade Commission and they’re being investigated as being a monopoly but… it’s not a monopoly, they just do it better than anybody else. - Joe Rogan"

- URCC Middleweight Champion Froilan Sarenas Talks Nov. 5 Title Defense Against Dexter Mistades (MMAMania)

"Froilan Sarenas has been a BJJ purple belt for over three years which makes him one of the most accomplished grapplers in Filipino MMA. He has already started putting that skill set to good use in mixed martial arts, submitting two opponents out of two and becoming the URCC Middleweight Champion in the process."

- UFC Undisputed 3 PRIDE Roster Revealed (MMAConvert)

"The rumors were true. There is a separate PRIDE roster in UFC Undisputed 3 and THQ has revealed which fighters made the list. Several PRIDE staples like Fedor Emelianenko, Alistair Overeem, Josh Barnett, Ricardo Arona and Kazushi Sakuraba (to name a few) are missing, but their absence is more than made up with the inclusion of one name... Don Frye."

- Roland Delorme Discusses ‘TUF 14′ Loss to TJ Dillashaw (5thRound)

"I had never had a staph infection before in all my years of training, so the thought of getting sick never even crossed my mind. The day I started feeling ill was strange because that day in the gym I was on fire subbing everyone and feeling great. I knew that I had to fight TJ Dillashaw in two days and felt ready, physically and mentally. - Roland Delorme"

- Drown your Herman Cain scandalous sorrows in this Josh Koscheck presidential campaign ad (MiddleEasy)

"I guess Kos figured he is as qualified as anyone else to run for President so why not make a campaign ad with the help of Dethrone. Someone should hire him a new campaign manager though, because running on a 'I'm going to eliminate Facebook and Twitter' platform isn't really going to win votes."

- Krzysztof Soszynski talks fighting, fatherhood, and fans in Canada (Five Ounces of Pain)

“I was mad because I wanted to have a fun fight for the fans and the UFC and one fighter didn’t want to fight and just wanted a spot in the company. I was disappointed that I didn’t get the finish but I got the W, which was great because I was coming off a lot of injuries and it made it two fights in a row for me. - Krzysztof Soszynski"

What I always get a kick out of is their formulaic titles almost always including a number. 10 HW's Who Will Win in 2012, The 5 Best Submissions in MMA, 8 Reasons Why Women's MMA Will Fail etc.

    or

10 Reasons Why Code Would Rather Read An Article By Ryan Than The Bleacher Report.
