Lol !It's like Ed Soares is tryin to send a personal message instead of translating.... I bet Dana and he have some serious issues since the Anderson fight.

Lyoto Lowered the credibility of the UFC!

Machida you lowered your own Credibility! about being the best 205!

i watch in the countdown when Shogun's team and Machida's team were watching the first fight and i was shock when machida said

that no matter what people think who won , but at the end of the day and in the future they show me as the winner and Shogun has another lost on his list

that was low machida just thinking about the record!

if you are supose to have Samurai blood in you , you should harakiri

    after the fight!

Lyoto's right ...if Dana doesn't like the judging - change the rules. Lyoto won with the UFCs own scoring system.

Dana White is too dumb to guide modern MMA.

He shoudn't be picking favs in fights either, that is really amature.

Machida had his feelings....,, Dana was just letting Shogun know that

that fight the thought that he had won it was close and that's how he felt....

so for Machida to still be talking about it, I think he is flat out embarrassed...

Agreed- Ed seemed to be a little bit too excited about the statements he was "translating."

Ariel disappointed me though- how 'bout a follow up: "So, you don't think maybe Dana truly beleived you lost the fight and maybe that was the reason he said Shogun won?" I don't really like Dana, but I really think he thought Shogun won and he, like a lot of people, were a little pissed off. Machida is just trying to wrap his ego around the situation and can't fathom anyone really beleiving that he lost the fight.

He needs a perspective adjustment; I think he'll get one tomorrow night.

first time a fighter criticized the "boss" its a good thing that machida stand on his own views rather than be silent with it. he just angered the dragon i cant wait for saturday.

Yeah, you just pulled that out of your butt friend. There is no evidence of censorship in the UFC. Hell, how many times have they given the copyright infringement warning live, and Rogan responds by saying that you can't fight the internet? You think the UFC wants him saying that?

Tito wears a shirt that says Dana Is My Bitch, and, he appears to still be active in the UFC. The idea that fighters aren't allowed to speak their mind, is a silly fantasy. The fact that someone could believe that this is the first instance of it happening, just suggests that they haven't been paying attention.

Wrong- he was going after the judges, not the "Tampon."

Dude, those things are very minor ...

Look at the favourites Dana plays! Anderson mocks a fighter in the octagon and is now close to getting "cut."

GSP (his absoltue fav) gets caught CHEATING and doesn't face ANY punishment from the UFC.

That's what makes Dana "bush league" - can't see the big picture.

Machida should pee in dana's water bottle for revenge lol, Dana is always on the fans side anyway, they pay for the fights not the judges.

Don't understand why Soares is translating. Lyoto speaks great English. Makes me a bit suspicious.

Actually whenever he speaks english its in situations where he already knows what to say, but when ever it live interview he needs a translator, which is to no disrespect to him at least he is making an effort. Im so pumped for this fight but its one of those fights where i like both fighers :( But ive been following shogun for longer so im going with him.

he doesn't translate the language to english 100% its hard to translate word for word unless your a professional translator. he already admitted to that in a video interview. im pretty sure he sugar coats most of the convo, so the fighter doesn't look like a ****

i agree, but it all comes down to perception i suppose, they simply don't perceive it as bieng "nasty" and see it as more of a booster to their immune system, i'd like to know how he gets past his gag reflex.........

Machida is right.......I understand fans disagreeing as of course I myself have had issue at times with certain decisions, but for Dana White to discredit the judges its just like Machida said, he is discrediting his entire event. Those same judges are scoring other bouts as well. To say theyre incompetent in one match logically says they must be incompetent in general. Its just one of those things that the fans will always speculate on, but the owner should NEVER.

Dana is UFC's chief promoter/president, not owner. It may seem unprofessional, but obviously Dana is not worried about that. Dana is their hype machine. His most important function is keeping the fans excited and telling them what they want to hear. He is first and foremost a promoter.

What? You're crazy. The judges are not part of any MMA organization. And they are incompetent. Dana White said what everyone said. And it isn't Dana White who undermines the credibility of the judges, it is the judges handing down laughable ridiculous decisions that make no sense.

The judges are very often terrible, they should stick to scoring boxing. We need a new judging system. 10 judges on a 100 point must system, and they should sit in a trailer surrounded by video screens showing every camera angle. Right now they just sit in the stands, aren't allowed a monitor or anything. It's idiotic.

MMA is riddled with bad decisions these days, they need to start using retired (or active) fighters to do the judging or something along those lines because otherwise it's just going to continue. I like both fighters equally but for me the thought of an aggressive Machida is a scary one. Both fighters are capable of taking this one and both are saying they aren't going to leave it in the hands of the judges, that makes for an awesome fight, i think Machida will have the better strategy this time around but we'll see.............

I'd be interested in seeing how Machida would react if the tables are turned this time and Shogun gets given the belt for free like he was. I bet you they will be bitching none stop about it.

Machida was talking about submissions. I've never seen him talk submissions. I don't know if that was a slip but it is interesting. He is a BJJ blackbelt and a Black House fighter.
