Luiz Cane vs. Stanislav Nedkov set for UFC: Rio in August

UFC: Rio continued to take shape today with the addition of a Light Heavyweight clash between Luiz Cane and undefeated newcomer Stanislav Nedkov.
UFC officials confirmed the match-up Sunday.
Cane, (11-3) will look to continue building momentum after scoring an impressive first-round TKO victory over Eliot Marshall at UFC 128. The win snapped a two-fight losing streak, prior to which the Brazilian had went unbeaten in three consecutive octagon appearances, including victories over Steve Cantwell, Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou, and Jason Lambert.
Nedkov (11-0), meanwhile, makes his long awaited promotional debut after having two previously scheduled outings scrapped. He was initially set to appear at UFC 117, but was forced out due to injury. A second match-up, set for UFC 120 in London, was also cancelled when his opponent, Steve Cantwell, withdrew on short notice.
UFC: Rio is set to UFC: Rio is set to take place August 27th from the the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The landmark card will be headlined by a Middleweight title fight between division Champion Anderson "The Spider" Silva and challenger Yushin "Thunder" Okami and will mark the promotion's first trip back to Brazil since 1998.
