Posted on May 25, 2010, 07:45 AM by Anton GurevichAfter long months of development and testing, LowKick.com Staff are proud to announce that the LowPick: MMA Prediction Game is finally underway! LowPick gives you an opportunity to test your Mixed Martial Arts knowledge by picking the results for the upcoming events.
The feature will work directly from the Picks & Events page on LowKick.com, covering the most important MMA fight cards around the world. Each correct pick will award you with points, to improve your position on the prediction table.
Point system
Correct prediction of the:
Winner: 10 (Before the Multiplier)
Method: (Multiplier x 10pts) x 1.5
Round: (Multiplier x 10pts) x 1.5
For instance: If I picked Alistair Overeem to defeat Brett Rogers via TKO in the First Round, while Overeem's Multiplier was 5, I will get: 112.5 points.
Each wrong prediction will deduct 5 points from your final score.
What is a Multiplier?
Long story short: When you are picking an underdog, you will get more points. The Multiplier Number of the fighter depends on the amount of votes he received from LowPick Community. As long as the fighter is "bigger underdog" by picks from Lowkick community, he will get a higher Multiplier rank.
Starting UFC 115, best LowPick'ers will get an opportunity to win an amazing prizes from LowKick.com!!!
Stay tuned for further announcements regarding the competition.
