Georges "Rush" St. Pierre vs Josh Koscheck

Top Prediction: Georges St. Pierre via decision

Daniel Cassidy: Given I recently referred to him as "The Greatest of all time", I'm quite happy to stick to my guns. Expect a clinic from GSP, as he shuts Kos up and sends him back to the locker crying. GSP via total domination (or R3 TKO).

Joey Santous: This one has been hyped as a good vs. evil, Batman vs. The Joker, Superman vs. Lex Luthor type affair and I'd be lying if I said a part of me isn't rooting for the villain.  With that said, it will likely be a matter of who is the dominant wrestler at this stage of their career and if you consider the work ethic of GSP, its hard to imagine Koscheck has closed the gap since they first met in 2007. Georges St. Pierre via Decision.

Jamie Kennedy: I really think Koscheck has managed to piss Georges off in the pre fight build up, and his antics on TUF. And in the famous words of Joe Rogan ''a pissed off Georges St. Pierre is a bad motherf***er.'' Georges will dictate the pace of the fight and it will be contested where ever GSP wants to take it. With Georges working on his striking with the Legendary Freddie Roach expect him to showcase some of his improved boxing skills come saturday night. I'm not giving Koscheck a chance in this one, Georges will wear him out in the early rounds and finish it decisively in the Championship rounds. I've got GSP by TKO in the 4th round.

Stephan "Skysrcaper" Struve vs Sean "Big Sexy" McCorkle

Top Prediction: Struve via R2 TKO

Daniel Cassidy: As a big fan of Struve, I honestly find it difficult to consider McCorkle as anything more than a trash talker looking for a pay day. That said, given there is so little tape on McCorkle, we could still see an upset. Despite that, Struve's only two UFC losses were against JDS and Big Country, and McCorkle is no where near that level. I'll still stick with The Skyscraper via R2 TKO

Joey Santosus: I can see this bout playing out in favor of either fighter, however Struve has a tendency to take more punishment than necessary and against heavy hitters like JDS and Nelson this has resulted in a short night for"Skyscraper." Though we haven't seen it displayed in the UFC octagon just yet, "Big Sexy" has big power and I expect a similar fate for the Dutchman in this one. Sean McCorkle via 1st Rnd KO.

Jamie Kennedy: There's been a lot of talk ahead of this fight, mostly on Mc Corkle's part, and Struve will look to silence Big Sexy with his fists. I see Struve winning this one with a submission, but only after he's softened Mc Corkle up with some effective striking. I'll take Struve by Submission in the 2nd.

Jim Miller vs Charles "do Bronx" Oliviera

Top Prediciton: Oliviera via R3 Submission

Daniel Cassidy: As a big BJJ fan, this fight is the one I'm most looking forward to. Both fighters are incredible Jiu Jitsu artists, and will dazzle on the mat. As big a fan as I am of both Miller brothers, I honestly expect "do Bronx" to live up to the hype, and use his more explosive brand of JJ to catch Miller. I'm calling Oliviera via R2 Sub.

Joey Santosus: Oliveira gets a well-deserved step up in competition here in Jim Miller, who will undoubtedly test the legitimacy of the Brazilian. While both are competent BJJ practitioners, "do Bronx" is the more dynamic striker and though Miller may find success putting him on his back, Oliveira's lengthy limbs make his guard all the more dangerous. Charles Oliveira via 2nd Rnd Submission.

Jamie Kennedy: I think experience will play a factor in the outcome of this fight. Although Oliveira is unbeaten in his MMA campaign, I see Miller as the more experienced and polished fighter of the two. No doubt Oliveira is an exciting prospect but Miller's only two losses on his record have come to current Champ and No.1 Contender Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard. Jim Miller will grind out a well deserved Decision victory.

Mac Danzig vs Joe "Daddy" Stevenson

Top Predicition: Stevenson via Decision

Daniel Cassidy: Despite being on somewhat of a slide since losing to BJ Penn, I would be surprised if Danzig was to beat him. Stevenson is very competent on the mat as well as on the feet, so i expect him to beat Danzig everywhere and most likely hand Danzig his walking papers. Joe Daddy via R2 Sub.

Joey Santosus: While both fighters have lost more bouts than they have won as of late, the names listed on their respective resumes are telling. With so much at stake here, expect these guys to show up at their best for this one. Unfortunately for Danzig, Stevenson is the more well-rounded fighter and at his best should out-point him here with relative ease. Joe Stevenson via Decision.

Jamie Kennedy: a fight that is make or break for both fighters, as both desperately need a win to sustain their relevance in the lightweight ranks. Mac will have the wrestling advantage but I give the edge to Joe in the striking and submission department. I see Joe Daddy wrapping this one up with a submission in the 3rd.

Thiago "Pitbull" Avles vs John "Doomsday" Howard

Top Prediction: Alves via R1 TKO

Daniel Cassidy: While i totally respect Howard, I don't really think he has what it takes to beat Alves. Thiago on a good day, looks exceptional, and his Muay Thai is second to none at 170. Both fighters will gladly trade leather, but once Alves locks in a clinch, it's all over. I expect Alves to end it via R2 TKO.

Joey Santosus: This one promises to be an explosive match-up with two heavy-handed Muay Thai strikers who have both vowed to take the center of the cage and exchange. While we have heard this before and been disappointed when things got underway, something tells me these guys aren't kidding.  As always in these type of bouts, either man has a puncher's chance, however outside of Howard landing something big, I have to go with the more tried and tested fighter here. Thiago Alves via 2nd Rnd TKO.

Jamie Kennedy: First and foremost I see this as a definite contender for a bonus at the end of the night. Two very aggressive strikers locking horns in the centre of the octagon, make no mistake this bout will be contested on the feet. I see the fight starting off with both fighters finding their range and feeling each other out, Alves will look to push the pace as he usually does, Howard will look to counter strike but I think Alves will be too much for Doomsday. Alves via R3 via KO.

I kinda want McCorkle to win because I find him funny and its good to see some more cheerful joke making fighters in MMA but I think Struve will most likely win tho

Damn, if Jammie Kennedy isn't spot on with his GSP comments. I too, think he (JK) has actually gotten to Rush, but not in the way he wished or intended. I think GSP is going to be looking to slaughter this guy and as Rush said the other day, "not" have to think of him again; for a long while.

GSP and his camp have me anticipating the "new" GSP; GSP 5.0. The Champ himself, is calling for a KO by left hook. He has also stated, that he is going to set a pace, that Koscheck can't deal with. Okay - that is what I expect as a fan; and GSP has never disappointed me in a performance; Matt Serra's victory, aside.

When I look at the picture of the two of them, GSP in his Armani suite and Kos in his "hoody" and I compare the looks on their faces, it tells me all I need to know; Koscheck is over his head and GSP (truly) looks serious. That is hands down, the most "game" I've ever seen on GSP's face, at a weigh-in.

This fight will not be a decision. I give Koscheck little to no chance of either winning or going the distance. GSP 5.0 is going to be that good.

Let us all remember that when GSP squared off against BJ for the second time, alot of fighters and pros were picking Penn to win, even more so than St.Pierre. This situation is very similar. A rematch against a guy he already beat, with a belt on the line this time, and a fighter that is much evolved form the first go round (BJ with his new "dedication" and conditioning, Kos with his well roundedness and striking). I predict Georges will rise to the occasion AGAIN, and exceed expectations with a dominating performance that leaves no doubt in the mind of MMA fans that he is the likely the best fighter in the game.

I'm a fan of GSP (but not a huge fan), and I can't deny that he is just on another level in terms of being an athlete and a mixed martial artist. When it comes to the mental aspect and tactical aspect of the game, no one comes close to putting together a better "solution" to the "problem" (except maybe Randy). After he beat Penn the way he broke down the game plan was remarkable. The fact that Penn has boxing-specific shoulders for fast hands, and how he slowed them down by putting his weight on BJ early. And also that he said Penn's reaction time was the best he has ever studied, but his "reset" time was not as fast, so he used many faints and didn't shoot for a take down because the threat of a knee. Kos is dangerous for sure, but outside of a punchers chance, I don't see him pulling off the upset.

Also plainly and simply Georges is much bigger and stronger and quite frankly i think he will man handle Kos in the clinch and on the ground if it gets there. But Kos may have a speed and explosiveness advantage, which he should try to capitalize on by being aggressive early.

This may come as news, but Struve was knocked out by Nelson in 39 seconds and by JDS in 54 seconds.
