Holy Balls, Anton working the M-1 connections! Okay now time to think of questions lol
Fedor, how do you manage to remain so humble considering you're one of the most iconic figures in the world of MMA? Also, do you ever get swamp ass while competing? You know, when you get all sweaty between your butt cheeks?
when can your fans see you fighting in the UFC?
Why won't your camp accept the Overeem fight?
Randy Couture recently stated he was ready to retire from the UFC. The timing seemed to coincide with the promotion of the new EA Sports MMA game, which you both attended.
Was their a discussion of a possible future fight? Would you persue the oppertunity to fight Couture if he is soon to become a free agent?
yes!
fedor,
you have been branded as the p4p best fighter in the world for many years. how did your loss to werdum feel with many people calling you overrated? also there are many rumors coming out that you are close to signing a deal with the ufc. any truth in that?
what is the main quality a great fighter should have?
After your spectacular win over Brett Rodgers you became the number one contender for the Strikeforce Heavy Weight Champion. Why didn't you fight Alistair Overreem for the title? Was it a managerial and promotional issue? Who do you think should fight Overreem next?
Most people consider you the most accomplished, admired and respected fighter to ever exist. Do you feel a responsibility to use your incredible influence to do good through spreading faith and helping others? Would you consider becoming a politician?
FEDOR, I'VE GOT MANY QUESTIONS THAT I WANT TO ASK YOU, BUT I'LL LIMIT MYSELF TO 3:
A-- WHAT IS YOUR FIRST PRIORITY NOW: 1) A REMATCH WITH WERDUM OR 2) A CONFRONTATION WITH THE REEM?
B- CAIN, THE NEW UFC HW CHAMPION, COMES ACROSS AS A VERY HUMBLE, LIKABLE, AND HIGHLY TALENTED FIGHTER. I ALWAYS HE'S BE THE NEXT FEDOR. DO U SEE ANY SIMILARITIES BETWEEN YOURSELF AND YOU?
3) ANY CHANCE, MINIMAL AS IT MAY BE, TO SEE YOU FIGHTING IN THE UFC AFTER YOUR CONTRACT ENDS W/ SF?
If you type louder maybe your question will get asked!
P.S. You might want to proofread B.
i know ill probably get weaked for this, but i hope people dont get too excited over this....in every interview with fedor i can remember, he comes across as the master of the general response/1 word answer....im not takin anytin away from him as a fighter, but i dont think hes even a top 10 p4p interviewee
Why not? Ive had 2 questions answered specifically by the 2 fighters who were asked. I thought it was pretty damn cool. Also I try not to ask silly questions.
dont expect an essay man, thats all im sayin
Have any of you actually wondered if Anton is just f***ing with us and making up all these interviews himself, that'd be a pretty hilarious stunt to pull lol
I think the MMA world who sees this would take that personally
What MMA fighter in any weight class do you admire skill-wise and why?
Fedor, do you believe Overeem really is avoiding you or was M1 Global misinformed about Overeem's current K-1 aspirations?
fedor the king of heavy weights! he should be number 2 p4p !
fedar, how long will you avoid fighting in the UFC 2 or 3 more years?
what words would you say to a man that wanted to be a proffesional fighter?
Fedor, do you think your management withholds information from you ?
what did you think of brock lesnars recent loss, and where do you think he should go from here?
make it happen man, cos i cant lol
What do you consider your greatest achievement to date in your MMA career, and what future goals do you have set?
Man oh Man I love that highlight reel!!!
I'm still in awe....I can't think of anything to ask just yet!!
Does M1 prepare your answers for you questions ahead of time, and are the questions you are asked screened. Do they limit you ability to speak freely? hope this question dosnt get censored.
maybe, "Can I touch your bicep" haha
Lol I hope it does, man we get to ask Fedor questions let's not be ****s about it, this is just something nice he's doing for the fans and not time to grill him with things like that.
Haha some people man.
First of all its a honor and privilege to be able to ask some questions to a legend of the sport. I have two questions:
- First, I would like to know who in your opinion is the best Heavyweight in the world and why, yourself included ofc.
- Second, You have one more fight in your contract with Strikeforce, so who do you intend on fighting and why.
Thanks in advance!
I have a few questions:
1. Fedor before your loss to Fabricio Werdum, what fight do you think posed the most threat to your unblemished record? In my honest opinion I think it was when Kevin Randleman suplexed you! would I be right in my assumption?
2. who do you consider the top 3 pound 4 pound fighters in the world? (your allowed to include yourself)
3. What are your thoughts on Alistair Overeem's recent comments where he said that M-1 Global are destroying your legacy?
4. How close are you and Alistair Overeem on signing a deal to fight each other, as that fight is my dream Heavyweight match up in MMA?
5. What advice would you give a young fighter, looking to start a career in MMA?
that is all, thanks in advance Fedor your are a true legend
and much respect from Ireland
Were you ever concerned at all during the Arlovski fight?!
My first question would be, you have been fighting for over a decade, went undefeated until the Werdum, you are consider by many the best MMA to ever compete, who was your biggest challenge before losing to Werdum?...
You have fought Werdum and Crocop and where set to fight Barnett, those guys are the only loses you brother Aleksander has, revenging your brother´s loses gave you a extra motivation for training against them?
and just as a comment, Fedor you took defeat in the most gracious way I have seen, you are true example of what a sport man is. Thank you for representing this sport in such a great manner...
My last question is related to the UFC/STRIKEFORCE, It seems that both promotions has been building deep talent in the HW division, the UFC has now a new HW champion and you said before that you follow him (Cain Velasquez) with one more fight in your contract with Strikeforce, would you bee interested in fighting for the UFC or would you rather to stay in SF? why?
Fedor are you pro or contra Putin's system?
This is not a political forum!!!!!!!!!!
So what? I have no sport questions for him because i already know much about him plus he wants to get aktive in the political area.
notice than when fedor gets rocked or pressured that he comes at you, and when brock gets rocked or pressured he scuttles backwards or loses his balance and falls trying to get away from the situation. hl vid made me think of that.
you know with all the money lesnar has, he should bring in fedor to train him
hey fedor, much respect.
Has your loss to werdum motivated you in any way wanting to get revenge or fight someone in particular? change your training, ground technqiues or coaches?
Thats a great question to ask Fedor, im pretty sure we will see an awnser for that one
ask fedor what techniques that are more unique to sambo he finds usefull in a fight
fedor for me you are the best fighter in all the world ,
what do you want to do in your future , you want a fight ?
In your fight with Andrei Arlovski at Affliction: Day Of Reckoning, it appeared that Arlovski was getting the upper hand during the fight under he got ****y and went for the flying knee, inevitably, giving you the opportunity to knock him out. My question is this: Were you in trouble during that fight with Andrei Arlovski?
Also, with only one more fight on your StrikeForce contract, does this mean we could potentially see you enter the UFC's heavyweight ranks?
fedor , First of all its a honor and privilege to be able to ask some questions to a legend of the sport and the best fighter in all the world , you are the best fot ever .
fedor for you who in your opinion is the best Heavyweight in the world and why, yourself included , dont be humble please .
fedor , you think you can beat cain velasquez and brock lesnar ?
i think yes , but i want your opinion
how did you get into mma and how could i?
Fedor, you always seem to be able to stay focused and calm before and during a fight even when you're in dangerous situations. What makes you so strong mentally. Is it your faith in yourself, god or your family? How do you achieve that?
Could you give me any tips on kettlebell training for creating more powerful punches, please. And whats the best age for my son to start using kettlebells.Thank you Fedor. God bless you and your family.
whuch fight in your career sticks out in your mind, and do you prefer to finish fights by KO, or submision?
He's only got 2 KO's in his career DC.
And how many TKO´s?
Why do u keep ducking Alistair Overeem and blaming it on him...?
How do you know he is? Everything about Fedor's feelings are speculation and theres a good chance your wrong also which would make you look even dumber if thats possible, with the one chance to ask a semi-respectful question.
out of all of your bouts, which is your favourite? and why?
Fedor, I know part of what makes you a unique fighter and helps your performances is the fact that you go into a fight with zero emotions. When the fight is over though, what is the first emotion you are overcome with? (in victory and/or defeat)
Fedor, if it was up to you, would you rather fight under Pride rules or Strikeforce/UFC rules, and why?
First I'm followed you since your fight against heath herring, that was the first time I saw you fight and from back then I liked your explosif style and followed your fights.
my questions are:
1- Why don't you fight more often, we want to see you fight at least 2 times a year?
2- I really really want you to fight in the UFC, is there any hope that you will one day compete against their HWs? I really want to see you fight Mir, Carwin, Dos Santos and specially Cain who I think can oppose you a real threat.
3- When are you going to fight overeem and rematch werdum?
4- Can you please submit werdum in the rematch :)?
1. what do you think about the hype machine UFC?
2. do you think you will ever fight without M1 co-promotion?
from watching most of your fights, Fujita seems to be the only one who rocked you, was it particularly satisfying to catch him with that choke afterwards?
Their mother, because they arent allowed to fight each other.
Have you ever or would you ever consider training with STEVEN SEGAL?? and what is your take on his style of martial arts, Aikido throwing Techniques and the spirituality side as well.
Hey Fedor your a true no1 p4p in the world in my opinion because you can beat anybody in the world. The whole reason me and my freinds got into mma was by watching your fights. Your the most brutal intelligent fighter.
Anyway i think no heavyweight in the UFC can beat you, i would love to see you have a few fights there and shut Dana's mouth. Please make it happen
Are you constantly amazed at fans and how non loyal they seem to be today.? Do you think the respect that was synonymous with MMA is a dying belief? Your real fans will always respect what you've done for the sport. You'll always be remembered as a humble respectful fighter.
Respect from the USA
Fedor, what was going through your mind when you watched Brock Lesnar get taken apart by cain velasquez? how do you feel your style matches up with the new champion, and could you see yourself ever competing against the mexican wrecking machine in the cage?
FEdor!
1. if you had the UFC hype machine behind you, wouldnt you been making more money then with co-promotion with M1?
2. i know status is not important to you but money is. wouldnt UFC pay more then the small guys?
3. what do you think of the UFC hype machine and over hyped Brock?
Privyet! One of your most supportive and devoted fans here.
My question is...
If you were forced to choose one match that was either the toughest, the most memorable or in your opinion, your biggest accomplishment.
Which match would that be and why?
Spaciba moy droog,
- Brian Fontes
1. Fedor, do you feel you are getting old and your speed is not as it use to be?
2. At M1 Global web site, most of your russian fans want you to wake up and get rid of your manager Vadim Finkilshtein motivating that he destroys your legacy and your future because all he care is immidiate money. Do you really agree with this statement?
Thank you and big respect to you!
I am really curious about the following
1. Sambo is one of the most effective combat systems out there. it stemmed out of Judo and BJJ stemmed out of Judo as well. Doesn't it make sense to cross train with a BJJ specialist? I mean Fedor did head over to Holland to train with all sorts of MT fighters...
2. you fight for your family and your country, but plenty of fans are mad about your dealings with promotions through M-1. can you clarify your position on your relationship with Evgeni Kogan and Vadim Finklestein?
3. What is your motivation to keep going ? it seems like you've accomplished more in the past decade than any other MMA fighter ever has...
and finally we love you Fedor!!! just ask my dog, cat, snake, gerbil, and kid that I named Fedor :P
I named my son Emiliano, but not for him only but for an old Mexican revolutinary man.
Dear Fedor,
I have one question to you. Do you use any of the internet communication to keep contact with your fans? I mean do you write the teamfedor.com, Facebook Fedor Emelianenko, or twitter? Which site do you use?
Thanks for everything, big rispect
Big respect to Fedor from the U.S.A.
Here are a few ideas for questions to ask...
1.) How do you like working and competing in America, as opposed to Russia, Japan, or other places you've been?
2.) American fans don't get much reliable information about your brothers Aleks or Ivan. Can you update us on how they're progressing in MMA?
3.) Are you still considering a political career in Russia? If so, do you foresee that changing your martial arts career?
Thanks!
i think you are the truest fighter i've ever seen and all i would like to know is:
will you make a deal to fight in the UFC, because they seem to get their fighters to fight more often than other organizations?
i've only seen 1 of your fights in real time and would really love to see more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dear Fedor,
what do you think of dana white as a person, a person who is always cursing and saying that you are not a great fighter and that you are scared to come to ufc.
I hope you stay at strikeforce and beat overeem and never go to dana- hype and lie fights up- white.
What do you think of the way brock lesnar and dana white represent the sport by always cursing and disrespecting other fighters and organisations?
Dear fedor,
if people insult you and say for example that you are over your prime time, does something like that hurt you? how do you cope with these things?
Fedor is the best, and I hope you beat overeem!
Dear fedor,
How do you always stay so nice to people, even when they are always saying bad things about you. People such as dana white, or for example brock lesnar, alistair overeem or frank mir.
Dear fedor,
Which fighter do you admire or see as a idol and why?
Dear fedor,
what did you do with your paycheck after your win against brett rogers?
Dear fedor,
what do you think of alistair overeem and that he is always challenging you and thinks that he is better then you?
Does Vadim Finklestein being Russian and the founder of the Gym you train at have a significant effect on your decision to possibly sign with another orginization
1) What is on the horizon after your contract is finished with strikeforce.
2) Your middle knuckle on your left hand is always massively swollen. How long has it been like this, and does it cause you much pain in training?
3) If you could pick anyone in the world to fight right now who would it be?
4) Who in the UFC do you think would be your biggest challenege?
5) Will you chin dana if you ever meet him please?
Fedor, I know you find it very important that you represent your country. Do you not think you can make Russia most proud when you defeat the UFC heroes and shows that you are the best? And do you not think this is more important than co promotion?
This is a good question! Totally agree! But Fedor should not limit himself to the UFC only, she should fight Alistair and Werdum first!
I wouldnt mess up Antong with native letters. This will most likely be condensed for best questions then asked to him.
Can you maintain the same training routine now compared to the one that you've been able to do 5-6 years ago?
Big respect for you Fedor !
Can you maintain the same training routine now compared to the one that you've been able to do 5-6 years ago?
Big respect for you Fedor !
what would you like to accomplish in mma before you retire from the sport??
Fedor, do you find an advantage is your training methods over the more complicated exercises used in the West? It seems that more simple exercises that you use (running, body weight exercises,...) can be trained with more intensity as you become familiar with the movement, whereas changing exercise methods all the time may hinder growth. In theory what advantages to you see in your style of training and periodization compared to the training camps and exercises in the West? Thanks Fedor,
who would you rank as your top 5 P4P fighters in the world? and would you include yourself in that list
from one christian to another, how does being a christian help you train and fight? also, when and where will your next trip to london be?
cheers, fedor, and press on.
Dear Fedor,
3 questions for you, my 8yr old son is getting bullied in school, did you
It will be an honor if Fedors answers this question and I hoped it hasnt been asked already but can you tell us anything about your two youngers brothers(Aleks and Ivan) and what they are planning in terms of Mix Fight, and if Ivna is even planning on getting into at this point in his life. thank you
Hey Fedor!!! I admire you - you are really great person and a true ambasador of mma. Tell me please:
1.Are you using some special diets ( like mass gain diet )??
2.Are you using any supplements (for example carbo)?
3.What do you think about stereoids?
take care yourself man!!! You're a legend!!
Dear Fedor,
My 8yr old son is getting bullied in school, did you ever have to deal with bullies growing up? And what do you enjoy doing when your not training or fighting?
Fedor- Two part question.......
Pt. 1. If you could fight any heavyweight in the world, regardless of contract stipulations, organizational restrictions, etc., who would it be and why?
Pt. 2. In your opinion how would your strengths match up against his and what weaknesses do you feel you could expose?
Dear Fedor,
You are by far the best fighter the world has ever seen, what are your thoughts on the late Bruce Lee, did he have any influence on you, if not who had the most.
Thanks for your time
I've been wanting to (honestly i am not kidding) know this for a while:
if you eat pelmeni, do you use sour cream, red pepper, black pepper, or vinegar?!
Who are your top 3 HW's ever apart from yourself?
Who is your favourite fighter?
Is there anyone from Russia that is unknown in the USA with great potential we should know about?
What dream fights would you want to see if you could make the match ups?
Did you have some relief actually losing at last, as there was so much expectation on your shoulders and do you feel that weight has been lifted now, or was you impervious to the hype?
Will we still get to see you on the MMA scene after you retire or will you be fully involved in domestic politics then?
Dear Fedor,
I've noticed that not many people seem to use Judo in MMA, yet you are easily the most prominent Judoka in the entire sport, not to mention the best MMA fighter alive. Why do you believe that Judo is so unpopular in MMA when it's a very well-rounded grappling style (takedowns plus submissions)?
How much Judo do you use when you fight? You are also a highly competent Sambo practitioner, and I believe you also have some general striking experience as well (boxing and perhaps more), so your abilities are quite balanced. Thus, I would like to know the importance of Judo in your game, since there is much you are capable of!
Thank you so much for taking time to answer my questions!
- Hugo, a fan from Toronto, Canada
After your first legitimate loss in mma, how will u deal with the pressure in your return knowing the expectations the fans have? Also, how has the support from your country men help you cope with the loss?
Are you thinking of making another title run before you retire or atleast get a chance to fight Allistar Overeem?
Fedor, have you ever thought of fighting at 205?
And, what do you think of points fighters as opposed to people who try to finish the fight?
Thanks for putting on so many great fights! You will always have my respect.
Fedor as I know you have one more fight left with Strikeforce
Are you prefer to rematch with Verdum or take a fight challenge from Alistair ?
Hey Fedor, I just want to say congratulations for still being the number 1 heavyweight in the world while all this fighters rise and fall.
My question for you is how long are you planning on fighting for? and if you are going to be training/managing fighters after you are done with fighting?
what saints or sages do you find interesting and is they any in particular that you find great profundity from ?
If they won't give you a fight in Strikeforce this year, will you please fight in Dream or Sengoku on their NYE show?
Fyodor you are an icon of the sport for more than a decade now, you are a perfect example of what MMA is or should be all about, both in the way you carry yourself and in the way you fight.
My Questions:
1) After all these years and having achieved so many, what is your motivation in your everyday training? Can you share some of the goal-setting you do before or during your workout?
2) Sometime ago, when everybody was storming you with questions about fighting Brock Lesnar someday, you said the UFC fighter that you keep an eye for is Cain Velasquez. His dominating performance against Brock Lesnar proved that you were right. Would you find it interesting in the future to train with Cain and exchange some fighting ideas with him?
Do you read about yourself and what MMA fans think about you on the internet? Do you get all the info from M1?
Fedor - do you think you could clean out the UFC HW division without any problems? if not, who do you think will give you the best challenge?
If there was one person in all of time you could fight who would it be and why?
I.e. historical figures, fighters in their prime etc
hello fedor is a great pleasure to q can read my comment I want to say with respect to you one of the best fighters pound for pound catolagados in mma my question is how you see the pride of being a fighter in every aspect yq think that pride again to take his place.
What are your opinons on the Cain Valasquez domination of Brock Lesnar, and who are you most interested in fighting out of Valasquez, Lesnar, and Overheem?
How much credit do you give to the Orthodox Church for your MMA accomplishments? Do you think the practice of religion helps the mind to be stronger more than any endurance exercise?
Who is your favourite fighter to watch and do you in any way base some of your style on their own style of fighting?
1)After witnessing/ hearing about Lesnar's devastating TKO loss to Cain Velasquez, what advice would you give him to improve his game?
2) Which current MMA fighter do you think would give you the toughest fight of your career?
Can you please explain the burning eyes that’s in a fighter’s look that shows he is ready for a fight. Can you please describe it and what causes it?
Is your gym in Stary Oskol open to public membership and do they have a website cause i would like to train there whenever I come to Russia especially under Vladimir Voronov (i respect that guy alot)
How do you avoid Cauliflower ears?
Which fighters would you have liked to have fought and why?
It being one of the more important, but oft looked over, aspects of competition, what is the best piece advice you can give to young ones and participators in sports to improve their mental strength in and out of the cage?
looking backward Trough your long career is there anything that you will cahnge or do it in a different way, something to regret in any aspect like: training, couches, company, organization or in your life?anything?
Thank you for the honor, and thanks to lowkick.com for the oportunity to meet the fighter i admire most.
Do you still train in Holland with Mr.Lucien Carbin and Ernesto Hoost?
Hi Fedor,
Can jet lag affect your performance during a fight?
Regards,
Antoine
a psychological question-mark I always had on you:
how can such a calm an stoic man of faith have such an aggressive fighting style? It seems obvious that there lies some anger somewhere in your soul, not necessarly against your opponent, or even anyone... can you explain how you are able to generate this aggression?
(@anton: my english sucks, just in case you take the question please reformulate it, I hope you got what I mean, thanks)
after the supposed deal of ufc nearly having you signed what (if even) were your decisions not to join?
Hi Fedor,
You have my sincere respect for not only being among the bravest of fighters but also for the way in which you conduct yourself. You are definitely a great example to look up to.
I have two questions...
It has appeared to me that in your latest fights you have struggled a lot more than in the past. I recall that you have mentioned in the past about feeling older. This is the hardest question to ask any fighter or sports athlete but if anyone would be honest with themselves and their fans it is you Fedor.
1. Many great fighters that you fought in Pride, like Mirko and Minotauro, have definitely seemed to have declined from their primes. Do you feel that you are in a decline from your prime as Heavyweight Champion of Pride or do you believe that you are still in your prime?
2. Alistair Overeem made the fight with Brett Rogers look easy as he dominated him in his victory. What are your thoughts about that fight and why you had a more difficult time with Brett than Alistair did?
Fedor, thank you for taking time to be interviewed by our MMA Community and thank you for the many great competitions that you have given us fans.
What do you see yourself doing in 10 years?
Dear Fedor,
Some fighters, f.E. like Cro Cop or Mark Coleman have stated in interviews, that for the last years they had been too focussed on their training camps, their sparring partners and training methods. Many fighters nowadays even travel to different (international) camps on a regular basis just to improve their "game". What do you think of this development and have you ever considered trying that?
i`m always worried when fedor fights because he can get injured accidentally, and not just lose the fight..My question for him: is better to win the fight and get injured or to lose but nobody gets hurt?
What did you think of the Lesnar vs Velesquez fight?
what are you planning to do when you will retire from mma?
lol, you asked for it Antong hahaha...12 pages
Now that MMA is legal in Ontario Canada, could you ever see yourself fighting in Toronto??
Considered to be the greatest fighter of all time, most people would feel you have already cemented your legacy into the mma and help develop the sport into what it is today. Do you consider yourself a pioneer of the sport and is there anything you would like to accomplish or give to the fans as spectators before you decide to retire?
Thanks, much love from canada
Why did you change your entrance music? Anae Volare was the best entrance music ever. I think when you walk out to that song , your opponents start to think.....what did I get myself into! BRING IT BACK
Fedor, will the fans ever get see you fight in the UFC? And, where would you like to see the UFC's first event held in Russia?
My 2nd question: have you ever met Vladimir Putin, and who would win in a Judo match, you or him?
Goofballs weaking this comment...Putin is an avid practitioner of Judo! I thought it an amusing enough question.
The goofy part is asking if hes met Putin and many pictures of them together would warrant that.
two questions
1: steroids in mma what are your thought on this ?
2: do you think by not going to the ufc you have hurt your legacy ?
@Fedor
Are there any other new kids coming up, maybe from your camp, or just russia all together, that you think we should keep an eye on
------------------------------------------------------
http://mma-videoheaven.blogspot.com/
What're your thoughts on the Lesnar and Cain fight?
Could we ever see you step into the octogon?
I know you dont believe in legacy and you dont have anything to prove but life goes on and as long as you are fighting you always have something new to achieve. you've been sambo champion, judo champion pride champion and wamma champion. who would it feel to be strikeforce champion and then UFC champion. Nobody can take away that kind of achievement from you or come anywhr closer to achieve something like that.
would you like to be champion of these two american promotions for mother russia????
2) Dana white is not a good example for the sport of MMA dont you think shutting him up by beating his champion would change people's perception of this sports? would you give us ONE only ONE match with UFC champion. nothing much just ONE match deal with UFC before you retire. i bet you can do that.
Damn it...In times like this I wish I could speak Russian...
2words, Google Translate
I dont waste my time.
Fedor, you identify yourself as a Christian. Jesus said, "Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" (John 3:3). Do you consider yourself a born again Christian? Thanks so much.
Fedor, I've read that you paint and draw. Who are some of your favorite artists and influences and can we or I see some of your art somehow? Please? :)
Федор, я читал, что вы краски и рисовать. Кто некоторые из Ваших любимых исполнителей и влияний и можем ли мы или я вижу некоторые из ваших искусства как-то? Пожалуйста? :)
Dear Fedor
You are perhaps the only MMA fighter to connect really dedicated approach to orthodox Christianity and a top-level performance in this violent sport. Do you think religion has helped you keep the cool head all this time, and do you feel that it helps you cope with your last defeat.
Also, has your defeat made you change anything in your training and preparations, and do you feel additionally motivated now that the western media doesn't consider you unbeatable or place you on #1 spot on top heavyweights lists?
Спасибо!
Best wishes in your future life from your orthodox brethren in Serbia and Montenegro,
LMT
Best MMA Fighter of all time. PERIOD.
Since the UFC refuses to co-promote with M-1 because the financial risks of such a deal outweigh the financial rewards of signing you, are there any terms under which you would fight in the UFC without co-promotion? Why or why not?
Thanks from a fan who will always root for you no matter who you fight or where you fight.

Fedor is my fav hope one of these is good enough :)) thanks lowkick!!!
Fedor, many fans are pleasantly surprised when they hear you speak English. There seems to be a reluctance to speak English in most situations, however. Would you please share your thoughts about this?
I would suggest that if you make a greater attempt to speak English in interviews, etc. to the American fans, the benefits to both you and the fans would be beyond imagination. From the fan's perspective, it instills a greater sense of connectedness when you speak English. And as for business and your popularity in North America, that can only be a good thing. I STRONGLY believe this will do nothing at all to diminish the perceived commitment on your part to the Orthodox Church or Mother Russia. In fact, it will only help in this regard.
Hi fedor i really respect you as a person and think you are a great example to everyone.
if you could meet anyone for a day, who would you choose ? and why ?
Fedor, do you accept or appreciate the prayers and well wishes of a broader set of Christian brothers and sisters?
In some parts of the Western church, we call this the Church Universal. That is, those believers in different denominations, sects, etc. that subscribe to a central set of orthodox doctrines. We do not always know who these people are, but we can know what these essential doctrines are: original sin, a just God, virgin birth of Christ, death, burial, and resurrection, propitiation of sins on the cross, etc. So we know that we have brothers and sisters all over the world- God knows who they are.
In your position, your commitment to the church is seen as a form of service and ministry. I am very thankful for this. I give thanks to you, but mostly, thanks to God! ;-)
Everybody loses, people (Dana White) need to understand that. You will always be my favorite fighter, but the loss was your fault. Werdum is known for his ground game and i was hoping you let him back up. The second you went to the ground my stomach dropped. I would almost bet my house that you wouldn't lose to him again. My question: In a rematch with Werdum, What would be the final outcome in your mind? Thank you and good luck to whomever you fight next.
Вы не можете подняться на наибольшую высоту, пока не упал глубокие глубины.
Fedor, you have a huge fanbase over here in South Australia's capital city, Adelaide. You should come over here and any other places in Australia for sparring/training seminars, it'd be awesome. What do you think? Like I said, your fanbase here is well worth it.
Cheers,
Cax
1- Your rise to the top in PRIDE showed some of the best ground and pound MMA had ever seen with your wins over Herring, Semmy, and Big NoG but you eventually transitioned into a stand up fighter as your career progressed. What was your reasons for the change and will we ever get to see a fight with a ground and pound strategy front and center?
2- You've been fighting for a decade now and accomplished more than any other MMA fighter to date. How many years do you feel you will be competing in MMA and also what will be your number one focus after retirement?
3- Being one of the smallest HW fighters out there, what are your thoughts on the idea of creating another division for the superheavyweights such as Brock, Overeem, Carwin?
Can we expect to see a very dangerous vengeful Fedor at your next fight?
Fedor, if you could be any comic book super hero, which would you choose and why?
You are a great and respected fighter. You have altered the landscape of the culture of the sport of mma- bringing it class, respect, humility, and good nature, and have done much to make it a more acceptable sport in the eyes of society. Your influence is felt in the mma fan community as well as seen in some of the fighters (I think Lesnars' recent drastic change in behavior is at least part due to your example, if one is to take the hint that he likes you and the way you handled your loss, as well as the behavior of Carwin, Velsaquez, and several other fighters.)
Whether you like it or not, being a public figure means people look to you as an example, and indeed perhaps your greater purpose (other than being a great champion) is affecting people's lives positively by being a humble, faithful Christian, and a moral, family and people-oriented person.
What would you say to today's generation who are growing up with ubiquitous negative influences and role models in their lives? What do you think about mma's current influence on young adults, and what would you change about it? Is this one of the reasons you choose not to compete in the UFC?
Thanks and God bless,
Michael
Hello Fedor, the world is dying to know the technique behind your so-called "looping-punch". You have never revealed it in your seminars and training videos and yet you have used it to defeat many of your opponents. Yes, I am it may be your secret, but if you could just tell us a little about it. And also, you seem to utilize the kick very rarely. Is this solely due to balance and risk issues or do you just feel more confident in knocking your opponents out via punches.
Thankyou,
Your no.1 fan, James
Dear Emelianenko...
...once you've said:
"Years ago we hardly had anything to eat. Now I earn more money and I see every opponent as a man that tries to put me back to that poorer period."
That quote has changed my life and probably touched many lives around the globe too.
Now that you turned your life pages and you just cannot get back to that poorer period, what will you do to assist people that can`t face their own barriers as yourself using the tools that made you the greatest fighter ever known?
What is your favorite fight which you've had in your career, and if you could fight anyone outside of Strikeforce in a single fight with no contract, who would it be?
Hello Fedor... My question is about that Bruce Lee quality..."Thinking" Would you agree that very few fighters know how to use there ability to "Think" inside the ring. They swing and kick thoughtlessly, and do not seem to want to know how to do it any better. It seems to me that S.T.A.R.S like yourself possess almost a 6th sense of moment to moment intuition. Constantly changing and re-inventing your technique, until it is NIRVANA. So...I ask you this...Do you feel YOUR ability to think like a master, is a gift? Or can it be learned? Thankyou for your time.
before the fight with Werdum, you talked a lot about retiring, but since the loss, you seem a lot more keen and passionate about continuing. do you feel like the loss has driven you more, or relight the desire to fight?
Who gave you the biggest challenge in your career, so far?
whr the fock r the answers sir??? i have never seen so money comments to an article.. but whr the **** are the answers?????we've been waitin you said fedor will answer our questions.. its more than 2 weeks now.. whr the fock r the anserss...
Fedor,
A few websites say you fought seven or eight amateur fights before your first professional bout against Martin Lazarov with Russian Top Team.
If this is true, what was it like fighting on the underground circuit in the years after the collapse of the Soviet Union? Where were your opponents from, what sort of men were they, and what rules were you fighting them under?
Was it less safe for MMA prospectsback then compared with amateurs today who have M-1 try-outs and so on to go to when they start out?
Thanks,
Jack
Fedor,
Last month you were elected to the Belgorod Duma. Will you find a way to reconcile your career as a fighter with your career as a politician, or do you think you will have to retire from the fight game soon?
Thanks,
Jack
Just curious. Where are the answers to the questions? Thanks
This post appears to be a scam.
Anton Gurevich is the author, by the way. He originally published this 1 month ago and we haven't heard a thing since. Anton sir, where are the answers to the questions everybody asked? And if you don't have Fedor's answers, then why haven't you updated everybody? This seems more like a dirty tactic to get people to sign up to Lowkick. It's like bait and switch which is illegal under Federal law and most state's laws. In otherwords, false advertising. Well, at least you got all those new members signed up, eh?
