Please hold an event here in the Philippines! That would be awesome, the UFC has a good fan base hear. Just look at how successful GSP's trip here was.
i cant see NY's logic for not sanctioning. its a win win situation for the state. TBH i wouldnt be surprised if the boxing heads had something to do with it.
Unfortunately i feel it'll be a few years before the UFC will return to the shores of Ireland. I know we have a big fan base but id say they'll hit scotland & gremany and maybe england again before it ruturns here.
the closest is marcus davis....urgh. he's american for starters, and why is he wearing a kilt?! i'm praying ufc don't put him on the card if they come here
Lorenzo said "Hopefully by the end of the year in Asia". Would it really be a surprise to see an event on New Years Eve? A chance to compete with Fields, and boast ratings to sell the brand as #1. I like Lorenzo wanting to spread the sport, but the UFC is starting to remind me of Wal-Mart. Moving all over, bringing with them options, but in turn, crushing the competition. Oh capitalism...
In the end, who really cares? It's all about the money making. Why should we care just how big the UFC corporation gets world wide? The question we have to ask is, is this positively impacting humanity? Is "making MMA bigger" filling pockets, or is it promoting self awareness and personal defense through martial arts? Does Martial Arts really need to be made mainstream, and in every living room? I am not so sure but am willing to ask.
That is right, it may or may not benefit the fans, but it does provide them with more entertainment, and it is already in the living rooms of most homes. Is it important to me how many cities they go to? Not really. I will never go to a UFC event personally. If it benefits others, fine. Does it benefit the world on the whole? Probably not.

I can't wait to go in 2013 with my future wife and her family!
Why would anyone weak this? Pansies.
Probably because the closest thing they have to a girlfriend is a keyboard with a plastic cover over it.

Maybe they can find someone saying "Hello Japan!" and waving towards a camera in the middle of a fight... sounds like a good idea to me at least.
Scotland would love a UFC event. :D :D :D make it happen!
Lorenzo presents himself to the media real well.
Real intelligent, professional and passionate about not just the UFC but the MMA sport in general.
Not saying Dana does a bad job but he can learn a few things from Lorenzo
Whats up with the picture of Fujita and Monson with White and Fertitta?

MMA getting bigger benefits us as fans. So I think we care, which is why its posted on a MMA fan site.
All we can do is hope it benefits the fans, its not like our opinion will make any difference to them.
