Koscheck: BJ Penn's camp told me Georges St. Pierre is using Steroids and HGHPosted on June 8, 2010, 07:54 AM by Anton Gurevich
It looks like the number one contender for the UFC Welterweight title, Josh Koscheck, possibly went too far. Koscheck stated in an interview to MMAJunkie.com that fighters from other camps told him Georges St. Pierre uses anabolic steroids and a Human Growth Hormone. Speaking about who exactly spread those rumors, Koscheck pointed a finger at the former Lightweight Champion BJ Penn:
"From what I've heard from other fighters in other camps, yeah, [St-Pierre] has done steroids and HGH, possibly. This is just on hearsay information that I've gotten. B.J. Penn and his camp gave me a little phone call. They were saying, 'Yeah, he's on steroids. He's this; he's that.' I said, 'Yeah, there's a possibility.' The guy is pretty ripped all year round."
In his reaction to Koscheck's comments, Georges St. Pierre declared that he is not afraid to do an Olympic-level drug test to prove he's not on steroids: "I have no problem; anytime he wants. I'm for random drug testing. There's nobody in the UFC that agrees more with random testing then me. ... Anything they want, I don't care. I give my body to science."
