K-Soz gets a Unanimous Decision victory over Goran Reljic
Posted on November 13, 2010, 03:14 PM by Anton GurevichTUF 8 participant Krzysztof Soszynski managed to bounce back from defeat against Stephan Bonnar, getting a hard-fought Unanimous Decision victory against the Croatian contender Goral Reljic. Soszynski managed to control the action during the most parts of the fight, mostly trying to submit Reljic via a trademark Kimura lock. The Croat managed to take down Soszynski on several occasion, but still failed to get a dominant position and change the direction of the fight.
In fact, Reljic completely disappeared in the final third round, allowing Krzysztof Soszynski to unleash series of striking combos on his opponent. But just like Duane Ludwig in his fight against Nick Osipzcak, Soszynski failed to land the finishing blow and took the fight to decision.
This time the judges had no troubles in scoring the fight, awarding K-Soz a clean 30-27 Decision victory. Soszynski is now 22-10 in his career, and will surely look to continue moving up in the UFC Light Heavyweight division ladder. Fighting Alexander Gustafsson could be a good option of The Polish Experiment.
