Veteran Boxing coach Juanito Ibarra revealed to MMAJunkie.com that he will coach the latest Ultimate Fighting Championship signing James "Lights Out" Toney. Ibarra has an incredible 30-year coaching experience, working with mega-stars like Oscar De La Hoya and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, who parted his ways with the Mexican after his disappointing loss to Forrest Griffin at UFC 86.

Ibarra spoke about his admiration for James Toney: "James and I have good personal chemistry. That's what it takes. I just don't jump in with anybody. We respect each other's knowledge.

He's a student of the fight game and a born fighter. I believe in him and think I can teach him more about his body, his athleticism – how to fight better as an MMA combatant. Hopefully my team will help him and we can go in there and get some victories."

Multi-time Boxing Champion James Toney follows the footsteps of the Baseball player Jose Canseco and the NFL legend Herschel Walker, who already made their debuts in Mixed Martial Arts. Toney stated in numerous occasions that he is ready to fight anybody the Ultimate Fighting Championship put against him, but his first opponent is yet to be announced.

Why would Tooney get a boxing coach? You'd think he get a wrestling or ju jitsu coach.

Juanito has a team that works with him somewhat like the Ultimate Fighter. Ofcoarse he has other instructors assisting him. He is just the main trainer.

This guy is a bitch, betrayed Rampage who treated him as his father, and then offered to train Wanderlei when he was going to fight Rampage, and anyways why did Toney get a boxing coach he should be training his ground game

He needs to find a wrestling coach to teach him how to defend the takedown... If he does not he will be eating canvass all day lond and probably get really hurt.

Thats the only way he will stand a chance...!
