Aldo used the services of MMA veterans Marlon Sandro (Bellator) and Gray Maynard (UFC) to prepare for Mendes, with sights on proving himself after a somewhat dsappointing performances against Kenny Florian and Mark Hominick. UFC 142 will take place at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on January 14th.

I'm sure he can't stuff all of Maynards takedowns but if he manages to stuff like 70% percent of them he's in great physical and mental shape.
That's good. Both training together. Maynard's wrestling pedigree and both of their striking capabilities. They both will be better fighters. Now to get Sandro in the UFC mix.
