Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo, who will make his promotional debut against Mark Hominick at UFC 129, discusses his life prior to becoming an MMA star, as well as his love for soccer.  Aldo recalls the days he spent poor, living in the gym and says to be here today, training with his friends and teammates, is a priceless experience for him.

UFC 129 is set to take place April 30th from the sold-out Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The stacked card will be headlined by a Welterweight title clash between division Champion Georges St. Pierre and challenger Jake Shields, while Aldo will put his belt on the line for the third time when he meets Hominick in the co-main event. No surprise that Aldo wanted to be a Soccer player!

Brazil is the best International Soccer team in the world with

    5 world Cups.

I also dream about being a Soccer player myself, but in Brazil

to make it to the Brazil Team is very similar to winning the Lotto

    in the U.S lol.

So many amazing players in Brazil , but good luck for us fans he found MMA. Im happy Aldo is getting what he deserves

    he is an amazing fighter.

He's a nice guy; flat out. He's come from nothing, all the way to the top - good for Jose. He is obviously a fellow with a great deal of heart, focus and talent. He is an incredible addition to The UFC; particularly as The Champ.

Although I will be pulling for Hominick - I wish Jose all the best; Mark will have one hell of a fight on his hands (as will Jose) in an effort to take that belt. And if The Machine loses and Jose retains his belt - cool. I'll be fine with that; he's a great Champ.

And for the fans - there will be no losers here. No matter the outcome, this fight it will be epic. I will be surprised if it goes to the judges. I will not be shocked, however, if this bout is both fight-of-the-night & knock-out-of-the-night.

    ...can't wait.

Man he's just a kid. Imagine what he'll be like when he's as old as everyone else in the division?
