Jon Jones gets taken down by Bantamweight Brazilian Journalist

Popular Brazilian journalist, Mario Filho, who is known for his daring head to head sparring sessions with MMA’s most skilled champions, steps inside the cage with current UFC Light Heavyweight champ Jon “Bones” Jones.

Filho’s past “opponents” have included pound-for-pound kingpin Anderson Silva, Heavyweight champ Junior dos Santos, and former 205-pound title holder Lyoto Machida. Featured on the Sensei SporTV segment “Senseinocao,” each of the fighters have two three-minute rounds to defeat Filho using their trademark move, which in Jones’ case, he would have to use some variation of a spinning attack.

In the end, Filho was declared the winner for the first time ever in the show’s history, not only surviving the session, but managing to score a takedown on Jones, something that none of his UFC opponents have succeeded in doing thus far.
