well like i said a couple of days ago John is going to win the fight. and that Diego is gonna have some mental issues after the bj beating, clearly wasn't agressive as we are used to.
I was impressed with Hathaway in that fight, the only person I've seen stuff Diego's take downs was Penn. He had good stand up and countering...this kid is going to be a force in the years to come
Not surprised by the outcome, Diego is a very overhyped fighter and I still don't understand how beating Guida could get you a title shot since Guida isn't even close to the top 10 LW's.
Hathaway looked awesome, he's a lot stronger than he looks man, he was turning Diego against the cage easy and all Diego could do was to break away, he couldn't reverse the position, John was too strong. His grappling is off the charts too, i was well impressed. I picked him to win this fight but i didn't think he would dominate like that. I think Diego under estimated him and paid the price, Diego seems to have lost his way a bit now which is a shame because he's ok really, he can be strange at times as we all know but he's a good guy and a good fighter, just wasn't his night, he'll be back for sure.....
@ck1 i found that hilarious too, he must genuinely not know to ask that, but surely Ariel Helwani, who interviews absolutely everybody connected with MMA would know that, what do you think?.......

Diego is one of those guys who worked hard to be as good as he is.
We are starting to see the naturals entering the UFC, Aldo another one.
It happens when the entire nation starts following MMA.
Kids start going to MMA gyms instead of 24hour fitness.

Diego got picked apart from start to finish PERIOD. Props to Hathaway nice execution.
diego looked slow as hell not to mention once hathaway stuffed the 1st takedown it was obvious he would have nothing for him.
