Jim Miller wants to find out just how good Georges St. Pierre really is
Posted on July 23, 2011, 02:04 PM by Joey SantosusIn the division, in the UFC, there are quite a few guys I'd like to fight, including Clay (Guida) and Melvin (Guillard). I'd like the opportunity to fight the best and beat them. Outside the division, I'd love to fight Aoki. I have a level of respect for him because he's phenomenal on the ground but he's so disrespectful to other fighters, that I just want to beat him up. Overall, I'd really love to fight GSP, just to see how good he really is... I'm 27, just coming into my prime and if I'm putting on more weight and it becomes to much then I might move up. - For complete interview, visit MMAMania.com
It appears the 155-pound strap may not be the only title that could lie ahead for top Lightweight contender Jim Miller. Speaking in an interview with MMAMania, Miller revealed an interest in challenging reigning Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre, explaining that a move up to 170-pounds is not out of the question.
Fresh off of his seventh consecutive victory over Kamal Shalorus in March, Miller is currently preparing for an upcoming clash with former WEC champ Ben Henderson at UFC on Versus 5. If victorious, his place among the Lightweight elite will be undeniable, but is a future at Welterweight realistic for the AMA Fight Club product? What do you think LowKick'ers? Does Jim Miller have what it takes to be competitive at 170, or would he just be another name on GSP's long list of victims?

trust me jim, u do not wanna know "how good" gsp is.
These are the only comments required - we've seen what Georges does to undersized 170's, Jim would stand no chance.
Jim Miller reminds me of Barny Rubble from the Flintstones. The dude has no neck.
I really think he has no chance, well I'll give him a 1% chance.
jim needs to look at the fight coming be fore he gets some superfight
but do think GSP would put it to him I think he thinks being a lil smaller
will be fast and maybe get a chance to take him down and no..... GSP
would crush his dreams
After watching Bendo's last fight, I think he will be too much for Miller. He hasn't even beat the top guys in his weight class yet so calling out GSP is ridiculous. It sounds like he his putting on more muscle and it's making him too big for LW. Hope he proves himself against some more of the top guys before he jumps classes.
hes young and he still has a lot of fights, he is not calling gsp but dreaming that someday he can fight him because he knkws hes one of the best. i also agree with u. gsp is a big at WW but small for MW and he makes LW fighters like a child in a cage.
Curiosity caved in the cat's orbital....
nah tbh I can't see how this fight could ever happen. Either he loses to Bendo and he has to climb back up or he wins and then has to work his way through the UFC's most stacked division.
Jim vs Bendo is gonna be freakin fireworks, i see these guys goin at it for all rounds, unless someone finishes that is
...uh, don't all fights go "all rounds, unless someone finishes it"?
I'm not sure Jim really wants any part of GSP right now. If, for some reason, they ever fought, he'd get smashed for 5 rounds. GSP wouldn't just lay and pray on him, he'd probably take a nap him as well.
to bad pic wasnt the video it failed to show one of his eyes poped out of the socket shortly after this pic was took
Don't overlook this man!
against GSP i think I will
no dought look at Sierra got a great hit and won but then rematch showed what happen if you dont have luck..... so yeah if luck is on
his side at the right time he could do it
After GSP, MIller wants to find out how tough Anderson Silva and Jon Jones are.
You know, I have no problem with fighters hyping themselves up, but let's not get delusional.
If he wants to know how good gsp is than watch his fights
And I want to fight King Kong Jim, but it just isn't in the cards.
Please Jim, say you were just playing.
why would he say this... such a pointless and silly thing to say... ur never going to fight him... should have kept this one to himself then went and trained with him instead..... then he could have found out without making himself look like an idiot... big fan of his but poor move there... he would have to beat bendo then the champ then atleast four others before he would even deserve a moev up in weight
