Jim Miller teaches Charles Oliveira a lesson with Submission victory in Round 1
Posted on December 11, 2010, 10:14 PM by Anton GurevichJim Miller made a bold statement for the UFC Lightweight title shot, with an impressive submission victory over the talented Charles Oliveira. The Brazilian unleashed a series of kicks and punches at the starting seconds of the fight (none of which really landed), before taking action to the ground.
On the ground, Oliveira was constantly looking for a Triangle Choke, as Jim Miller worked his way from the top. Oliveira lost concentration as Jim Miller grabbed his left leg and forced the Brazilian to tap out via a kneebar at the 1:59 minute mark of Round 1.
Jim Miller improves his MMA record to 19-2, currently enjoying an impressive six-fight winning streak in the UFC. Miller has an overall 8-1 record in the UFC, almost identical to the fellow challenger George Sotiropoulos. The fight between the two could make a perfect sense as #1 Contender bout, possibly taking place at UFC 127 in Australia on February 27th.

He's still young, give him time and he'll be at the top.
Ya Oliveira is sick, he'll be back, as for Miller...UFC should make Sots vs Miller in Australia instead of Sots vs Siver
Oliveira underestimated a veteran fighter.
The kid will be back..
miller is right, he should get more recognition, when you look at his record
