Jeremy Stephens says patience was the key against Sam Stout

By outpointing Sam Stout in a Unanimous Decision, Jeremy Stephens achieves a second consecutive victory inside The Octagon and improves his record to 18-5.
Twenty-three year old Stephens made his Ultimate Fighting Championship debut at UFC 71 three years ago, losing to Din Thomas via Submission. Lil' Heathen currently trains at the San Diego-based Arena MMA Team, alongside Diego Sanchez, KJ Noons, Cyborg Santos and the BJJ legend Xande Ribeiro.

I gave Stephens round 1 and Stout rounds two and three but I guess it was close, eh?
I love the Lil Heathen that let his hands go and threw caution to the wind but I respect him for fighting a smart fight against Stout. He did what was best to win.
