Jake Shields hires Uncle Chael to help in preparations for Georges St. Pierre

Former Strikeforce Middleweight Champion will look to capture the UFC Welterweight title on April 30th, facing the reigning Champion Georges "Rush" St. Pierre. And according to image below, the man who will help Shields to neutralize GSP's world-class Wrestling is no other than Chael Sonnen.
Sonnen's UFC contract is currently "frozen" due to an ongoing legal process, but judging by the image, it looks like the former Middleweight Title contender is in an excellent shape. Sonnen's return is scheduled for "sometime this summer", possibly against Michael Bisping.

Isn't he supposed to be on steroids? I mean, doesn't he have a medical condition? I just hope he hasn't been brought into camp and give his "condition" to Shields; whether or not the condition is either medical or ethics.

I don't see what Sonnen can do for Shields in this fight. Shields problem is not his wrestling, so what else does Sonnen bring to the table; knowledge of the "right-side-up" of a needle, the number of a good lawyer or the address of The Federal Court House in Portland?
Shields should be working on one thing and one thing only for this fight - his boxing.

Other then Nate diaz this is basically the reject camp, the get close but will never make it camp.
I think it's just you buddy. They have two current world champs under the SF banner and a squad of fighters that are world class in their Martial Arts practice...Daniel Roberts is coming up, and they have a lot of undefeated young prospects moving up the ladder
This is a great camp, and they are expanding throughout the Bay Area for talent with AKA being the only other competition. You can just keep talking out your ass, and be stupid hommie!!
lmao SF champ isnt an accomplishment considering their only deep divisions are HW, yea ok one or two good fighters in the other divisions and Hendo has added some talent but hes only one man. We will see how Shields does come April 30th. I agree with whoever said that Chael has nothing to give Shields. He really should be working on his striking cuz if GSP stops the takedowns, shields will be a fish out of water

Sonnen and GSP are both great wrestlers but that is where the similarities end GSP has great sub defense and Sonnen has been subbed many times so i don think thats gonna help Shields very much
