There was no mention that Volkmann was being interviewed because he jokingly called out Obama as his next fight opponent during a Helwani interview. No mention that the Secret Service had questioned him as to whether he was threatening the president. No mention that he was suspended by the school board from his wrestling job No mention of the Jay Leno Tonight Show skit in which he was skewered.
If you work with health insurance, private or not, there are always forms to fill out if you want to make a claim in a doctor's or dentist's office. The interviewer also did not ask what Volkmann could get paid if he became moderately successful in the UFC.
Not an enlightening interview--but rather, one in which a political point was to be made.
As much as I hate Fox and Newscorp, that whole disgusting right-wing propaganda machine disguising itself as a news media company, I have to give them credit for giving some attention to certain MMA fighters, albeit ones known to be on the right-wing side of things.
But this interviewer is a moron... I expect a lot more out of a man with such a smart-sounding accent.
Here's an idea. Why doesn't he hire some one for $8 per hour to do the paperwork for him while he is cracking. I guess all that free publicity from fighting isn't working that well anyways. He also doesn't seem like the brightest bulb on the tree and wouldn't want him cracking even a joke around me let a lone my spine.
