Why does UFC on Fox suck?
Roller won that fight. He was the aggressor, landed all the significant strikes and had Johnson in much worse trouble than he was ever in.
Roller won the fight, but when you look at how a fight is scored in MMA, Johnson should have won a decision. 2th round was very close, but I gave it to Johnson. Third Roller won big, but not enough for a 10-8. I don't know why they don't use 10-8 and 10-7 more often. 'Shogun vs Hendo Round 5: 10-8" "Maynard vs Edgar II Round 1 10-7" IMO
I agree, why call it the "10 point must" system when only 2 points ever get used? If this system was logical the Edgar Maynard I, round 1 should have been scored like 10-2 or 10-3. Now of course that gives the judges a lot of freedom to choose how to score the fights and they seem to struggle with awarding only two points so I don't know if that would make things better or worse but ya, the scoring system is simply illogical. I guess you can say you get 8 points just for answering the bell, gotta give a fighter some respect? Lol.
