I really like Hendricks i think hes a likeable and very talented guy he caught Fitch maybe he can do the same to Kos i think if Koscheck comes out and wrestles with him it could go towards Koscheck but if there standing up and banging i think Hendricks may have a slight advantage

I don't think he's better than Kos anywhere.

There wrestling credentials are essentially the same.

In terms of striking, people keep talking about how Kos is too one dimensional and can't defend the jab...What people forget is until a certain fighter jabbed the crap out of him for 5 rounds, he was considered one of the best strikers at 170...what they also forget was the fighter was GSP, who is no slouch.

Hendricks benefits from never having faced that level of competition, and never having been beat like that, but it's not like he's the next Anderson Silva either.

Kos has been training standup much longer than Hendricks, and while Hendricks may have the edge in punching power, Kos has a few one punch KO's of his own, so for all intents and purposes, that's a draw too.

In conclusion, I think these fighters skill sets are very, very similar. So I think this fight will come down to athleticism and conditioning. Both of those advantages go to Kos (Hendricks has never looked ripped for any fight). So I'm picking Kos to take this via decision.

Your basic premise is sound but are you saying in your second paragraph that most people forgot that "someone" jabbed the crap out of Kos's face AND that we forgot that it was GSP who did that?!? WTF??? We didn't forget that.

In addition, I have a hard time following the logic in your third paragraph: Kos got beat up badly and Hendricks has never had the benefit of being beaten up badly AND he's no AS either???

Are you hung over from last night ;-)

    Proof read Buddy.

    I said:

I don't need to proof read that. You need to reread it.

so he was considered a top striker at 170 when after Alves picked him apart on the feet or after Paulo Thiago knocked him out he has power but hes never been a top striker the only credible strikers he has faced and beat are Daley and Rumble and he wrestled with them both he has never stood up with a top striker and won

Actually when Kos fought Rumble he stood a fair amount of the time. They both poked eachother in the eyes. But I felt Kos was getting the better of the standup as well, with some pretty good counter striking. Elite striker? No. Dangerous striker? Koschek definitely is dangerous for anyone. Any day. But Hendricks could be too. I'm not picking a winner. Just clearing that up about Koschek and Rumble.

Really hoping Hendricks can have a repeat performance in his fight against Kos.
