why is it when anderson won that fight in the fashion he did, people try and knock him down, but all those years of big nog, or fedor taking a beating only to submit someone in the end, is acknowleged as triumph...silva didnt even have a scratch on him. chael would have been unconscious if there was not a ref to step in and stop the fight.

Is a load of BS, Idk how people are so dumb they fail to realize that without a referee, whos to say that Sonnen would even let Silva up after a round? If there werent a ref, Sonnen could go Hackney on Silva's nuts and make him tap out via nut strikes?
Oh how about it was a street fight?
Well a takedown would hurt the person getting taken down a heck of a lot more. Sonnen could also slam Silva's head against the concrete while in top position.
So in closing, if youre going to nuthug at least be somewhat logical like me. And accept the fight for what it was, Sonnen dominating for 23 minutes, and Silva winning in the end.

If you really like this ridiculous street fight analogy, a lot of horrible balls grabbing, fingers in the eye, rectum abuse could happen in both sides. The bottom line is Chael coudn't get a TKO, he COUDNT DO IT but Anderson got the triangle and killed him streetfightwise while Sonnen was just hurting his broken ribs with pillow punches for 24m 30 s minutes lol Sorry,just facts bro.
Anyway this debate is bad for mma, this was a great fight and they have a lot of merit, Sonnen for bringing it and being good at what he does and Anderson for being a real champ and overcoming adversity. They both are incredible fighters but Anderson WON. End of story.
Why say Silva killed him street fight wise? This is MMA, and in mma Sonnen lost. But he put an ass whooping on Silva but got caught in a triangle in the end. Lets not even mention street fight because Sonnen would have won that hands down since hes the toughest gangster in the world =]
In a street fight, Sonnen could have shot Silva before Silva was in striking range, so yeah you have a good point.

Uncle Chael is a really neat guy. It's really fun to watch him beat people up, even if he loses. When he's not fighting, he says lots of funny things. What Uncle Chael says makes some of the other grown-ups sad, but they make me happy. He's like a clown that hurts people real good. He's funny. I like Uncle Chael. I hope he never stops fighting and saying his funny jokes. The end.
