Renowned mixed martial arts trainer, Greg Jackson, discusses the upcoming match-ups of former and current Jackson's MMA fighters Jon Jones, Rashad Evans, and Carlos Condit.

Reigning Light Heavyweight Champion, and current Jackson's MMA pupil, Jon Jones, will put his title on the line against former teammate and training partner, Rashad Evans, in the UFC 145 headlining bout. Meanwhile, Carlos Condit, also a member of the Albuquerque based gym, looks to defeat Nick Diaz this Saturday night for a shot at Welterweight kingpin, and Jackson's affiliate, Georges St. Pierre. "Yeah, I thought he gave a great performance. He was able to have the edge everywhere, so it was good to see him have a great win. ... I never really want two guys that I know so well to fight each other. But, it has to be done, it's part of the business, and definitely there's animosity between the two of them now. So, it has to be done, but I never enjoy it - that's for sure."

"His training went really well. ... We've got some big hurdles to overcome, and hopefully we've trained him right and he'll be able to perform correctly on fight night and overcome them. But, certainly, Diaz is a very, very tough opponent and he presents some significant challenges ... We'll try just to not fight his fight and fight Carlos' fight. I can't say more other than that, but we'll try not to play his game."

Can't wait for Bones v Suga.

Looking more forward to Diaz v Condit. I honestly want Diaz to win, and see the GSP v Diaz fight for the title.

I think everyone who fights Diaz goes in w/ a game plan...then after a few "stockton slaps" that goes out the window. I have the utmost respect for Condit and really would pull for him in any other fight, but this one. Unfortunately, in the words of Greg Jackson, "it has to be done, it's part of the business."

Jones will win and make it look easy in the process. And I like Rashad.
