those who say gsp will win and simply dethrone anderson silva is simply biased. anderson silva has a lot of experience and he has never been knocked out while gsp has. and gsp would not want to stand with anderson silva. anderson silva has pro boxing and muai thai experience and clearly has the stand up advantage while gsp has the ground. but remember this, all fight start standing up. and there have been a lot of fighters who came in with a gameplan to take anderson down (which gsp will probably do anyway) and all of them have paid the price. dan henderson (an olympic wrestler) with a good chin (which is weaker compared to gsp's) got rocked by anderson silva. also, anderson silva is a very different fighter when he lost to chonan and the other japanese guys. he has evolved. and in the ground, i don't think gsp would have a clear advantage since anderson silva definitely has a bigger frame than him and is surely larger than him therefore stronger. and one more thing, the middleweight division is not a weak division, your talking about wins against dan henderson and rich franklin, all talented veteran fighters with a lot of experience, anderson just made it look easy. bottom line is, the fight would be a great fight. don't be biased.
