Reigning UFC Welterweight Champion, Georges "Rush" St. Pierre, shared his timetable for the long-awaited return to the UFC Octagon. According to St. Pierre, he is expected to go back into full training schedule in July, while his fight against the winner of UFC 143 interim title clash between Nick Diaz and Carlos Condit could take place in Novembe-December. The French-Canadian declared he will "definitely" fight before 2012 runs out, adding that he hopes Nick Diaz will be the one holding the Interim UFC Welterweight title.

Meanwhile, Georges St. Pierre's coach Firas Zahabi shared more information about his protege's rehab process with the Sports Schience Lab guru Gavin MacMillan:

Sherdog.com (quote via MMAMania.com)

"He trains Troy Polamalu from the NFL. Tremendous trainer. I've been corresponding with him for the last little bit since Georges got injured. We have complete faith in him. He's been through this process before with NFL players. The doctor was more than happy with the results of the surgery. Things are looking really good. Georges is extremely motivated to come back. He's very excited. He's got that fire roaring now bigger than ever. Everything is lined up for success hopefully. He had an existing injury before the tear. He kept training, and it tore. He realized he was trying to save time and not miss a fight, and it turned out that he's going to miss a whole year. I don't think he'll come back too fast. It was a mistake he did before, and I think he'll be sure not to repeat it again."

Now there is a real Champ , gets a real injury discloses the type of injury so people now how long it will take to recover , sets a return date and even welcomes an opponent

While others don't even say the type of injury postpone the return date and try to avoid the Top contenders

I would love to see GSP vs Diaz because its been in a making for a while now but i'm not sure if Diaz can get past Condit

either way Diaz vs Cobdit is going to be a sick fight can't wait!!!

If Diaz beats Condit, I don't think he'll wait 9 months for GSP.

    I think Condit would, though.

    Will be interesting!

I dont see condit or Dias avoiding GSP takedowns for 5 rounds.... or knocking him out...... Anyway way, happy with a new WW champ, we will have some refreshing exciting fights until gsp return.

I agree with Diaz and Condit not being able to stop the takedowns, but come on they can def KO/TKO GSP

Well, sure. I think Nick AND Nate could take GSP but the fight we're talking about is just Nick. Nick will lose.

Never count out Nick Diaz. It's a "character" thing... you'll understand someday.

He is a closet fan of the Diaz brothers Ent. Trust me! I've missed all this witty banter while I've been out sick. All I've had time for is work and sleep.

No Bruce.......Nick will win. You know you are thinking it. Admit it bud; if anyone is talented enough to bring this thing to the champ hard and strong, It is Nick Diaz!!

Just say it one time. I can't wait for that showdown!!

But Condit isn't gonna lay down for nobody. He doesn't like being considered the stepping stone. He is a threat to both Diaz and GSP.

Although GSP would win against either fighter,I would say Condit is the harder fight!GSP is gonna MANHANDLE Diaz from the start if they are the ones to fight....Just a fact....go ahead and "WEAK" me now....haters.... :-)
