Speaking prior to UFC 143, UFC Welterweight champion Georges "Rush" St. Pierre shared thoughts about his future bout with the reigning Interim UFC 170 champ Carlos Condit, and Nick Diaz's failed drug test. In addition to declaring he's not the champion anymore, St. Pierre revealed he thinks Marijuana cannot be considered as performance-enhancer, also speaking about his hopes to see Nick Diaz returning to the UFC in the nearest future.

Marijuana is a PED and Nick Diaz says so in a youtube video. He said it helps him expand his lung capacity etc...which I believe to be true. Since I started smoking weed my asthma went?!!! WTF!! Nature has a cure for everything. A natural plant on the banned substance list, hmmmmm? They know it's a PED but have it on the list as a narcotic to mislead you.

    Agreed.

And GSP doesn't care if Nick Diaz uses a performance enchanting drug.

I dont like GSP that much as a fighter (A little bit boring) ,but he is a nice guy and he admitted that Fedor was the P4P best fighter.

So I ll always be rooting for him in WW division

if anyone thinks that marijuana is a performance enhancing drug that's ridiculous it slows you down and effects your ability to think, and im pretty sure that doesn't help you fight, what bud does do is help fighters re-cooperate and help with the stress of being a fighter one of the hardest jobs in the world fighters like nick diaz, bj penn, chris leben, and evn your LHW champ jon jones have admitted to smoking weed to just chill out its a joke that marijuana is even on the banned substances list liek come on its 2012 and weed is still illegal yet tobacco has been killing ppl for centuries .....

Maybe evans has the speed to do it, but i dont think so. I also hope to see Jones Sleeping on the mat very soon.

Machida lost, but I think he is the one who could do that ,or maybe a super aggresive shogun who would throw muaythai combo from the starts without being affraid of being taken down. Just like he would do in the street if someone would touch his wife lol

I am a pretty standard advocate for legalization of Weed like anybody else who can think for themselves. However, I don't really think you should be driving or doing things like fighting WHILE high, only because the sport is dangerous and there is no reason to make it more dangerous. That being said, fighting high and testing positive for tweeds (which can last like 15-25 days for a fighter of nick diaz' size) is a totally different thing. Every other substance on the Banned subtance list has testing/pass through window of 18-48 hours. Why would the one drug that has the least affect (beneficially in the ring) and can be tested for like a MONTH afterwards even be put in the same boat? Weird.

i think weed is definetly helpfull it just depends on the user, i have trained many times while high it just helps things flow smooth but as far as being banned its bs especially if its being used medicaly

Weed being illegal is ridiculous. It's like paying for long distance phone calls...20 years from now, no one will believe it ever happened.

But it is illegal. If drinking booze was illegal, like during prohibition, you'd get busted for testing positive for that too.

I hope they go easy on Nick, but you know what they say...don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

On a side note, Jon Jones is one of my favorite fighters. While I don't agree with the haters, and the whole "he's total fake" thing, I will say this... in terms of being centered and a well rounded person, Jon Jones wishes he was GSP.
