Kos has really managed to piss GSP off. It should be a fun fight to watch!

Ya true, I dont see any way Kos can win, GSP is a better wrestler, and striker, I think GSP is going to destroy Kos

I lobve the way GSP is straight talkin'....this fight should be fireworks. Although fights with much more hype than this have not lived up to their billing. Bear that in mind....

GSP has a habit of putting on a better beating 2nd time around. I think this is due to his master ability of formulating a strategy and having the skill to implement it, along with the fact that having fought them once he learns and adapts accordingly. I hope he beats Kos, then moves to MW as if they are throwing the likes of Shields at him, there really is no challenges left for him at WW.

Shields is the only guy at WW who can out wrestle GSP. He is a huge challenge.

I don't know about that, Shields may be a better wrestler, but St-Pierre is more explosive so I don't think even if he got him down he'd be able to hold him well, if at all.

shields ground looked pretty weak against kampmann even before he gassed all he was able to do was get a taked down and secure position. kampann is no joke but gsp is light years ahead of him

@postmortem; he did look weak but that is very likely due to the wt cut. He hadn't made a cut like that in three years.

As to everyone else. Shields is a better wrestler than Fitch and has out wrestled guys at MW. The only reason Fitch was out wrestled by GSP is the way GSP puts it all together. Don't act like I said I thought Shields would destroy GSP though. I actually think GSP wins that fight too but to act like Shields is a walk in the park for GSP is laughable. The truth is that when GSP and Shields fight GSP will win if he keeps it standing. On the ground Shields has a marked advantage.

GSP aint gona move up to MW. And yes, he propably beats Kos. But it will go to the decision unless Koscheck taps from L&P.

Lets see how many weaks this one will get.

yea if he out wrestled him then he would have taken it to the decision what he always does so he actually used jui jitsu that fight used the wrestling to set up that submission

ichokepeople.... with a name like that I would expect you to have some knowledge on the submission game.... you fail to convince me otherwise... was Royce a wrestler or a Jiu Jitsu practitioner? he did not need wrestling, he would of pulled guard and looked for submissions from his back.... in Jiu Jitsu you will learn how to take it to the mat undoubtedly, even in sport Jiu Jitsu the aspects of takedowns are required which do not only come from wrestling but Jiu Jitsu also.

which is better - little to no JJ with wrestling or little to no wrestling with JJ..... i will allow you to be the judge of that....

Kos said that he studied gsp's takedowns, the timing, precision, the perfect set up of gsp's TD. Lets see if it makes a diff and he can take gsp's down this time. The prob is gsp has perfect sprawls as well.

Is Koscheck's name on anyone's P4P list? Is anyone talking about or wanting Koscheck to move up to 185 to fight Silva, Belfort, Sonnen, Okami et al? Does anyone think he'd be successful with any of those fighters? I can only imagine the beating Koscheck would take in those fights, while GSP would and does have a serious shot at defeating all of those fighters. I'm not saying he does, but he's not going to be a cakewalk for anyone @ 185; period. The same could not be said of JK.

Of their upcoming bout - I expect Rush is going to own him and enjoying doing it. I suspect strongly that Montreal (itself) can't wait for him to get there and don't think the stress of being in that city in the days leading up to the fight, isn't going to weigh on JK, for they are a passionate lot Montrealers & The Quebecois. He's going to get trash talked by every GSP fan he bumps into (and in a language he doesn't understand) and (then) resoundingly booed when he enters the arena. Even in this, GSP has and will take advantage.

When you look at their respective records and who they've fought, GSP is clearly the better fighter, with clearly the better record; wins over tough opponents.

An educated guess - should Koscheck be blessed enough to catch The Champ as did Serra, he will not remain as Champ (for long), as did Serra; he's not Champ material. There are a lot of fighters in that division that Koscheck would never beat...Alves, Fitch, Condit, Shields, Kampmann and he would touch the "new" Diego Sanchez; not even close.

I'd like to see UFC get Nick Diaz back from strikeforce to fight GSP at WW his boxing is better and is not afraid at all to be taken down and fight off his back..other than him i don't see anymore contenders for GSP at this weight class..not even Shields..he would have to Improve his striking by 100% to deal with Georges

I'd like to see gsp try to knock somebody out. It seems lately all he tries to do is get a win, which is all fine for him, but dont forget the ufc markets this sport as a gladiator sport. For all the fighters ufc has gsp is the last one i would consider a gladiator. gladiators = chris lebon, chuck liddell, rampage, and wand.
