Edgar credits his team for his ability to fight back from near defeat in his last bout with Maynard and says that he expects another exciting contest when they meet again in May.
Edgar's sole career defeat came via unanimous decision against Maynard in 2008. "The Answer" will look for redemption when the two meet for a third time at UFC 130 on May 28th from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Lighweight title clash will serve as headliner for the stacked card, while former Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson takes on Matt "The Hammer" Hamill in the co-main event.

i bet the camera guy was telling him to get out
Edgar and Maynard are 2 of the most consistently good LWs in MMA, Edgar vs Maynard II was an awsome fight... why can't i get excited about seeing it again...?
The first round of the World Cup gives is teams like ghana, mexico, uruguay and matches that could easily finish 6-5 but it gets to the final and we're subjected watching Spain and Germany stuck in a stalemate...
Cant wait for this fight to be over and we can enjoy the scramble to the next title shot with all the new talent in the LW division!!
I think it's just how the match up sounds.
I can only speak personally, but I was not very excited for Edgar Maynard II either. Sounded like either way it went it was probably going to be boring.
That is, until the fight started. Then it was simply awesome.
What's not to be excited about? They're two very well rounded fighters whose wrestling is likely to negate each other to a large extent. I expect to see Maynard being more aggressive in the next fight, which will make for a very interesting bout.
There last fight was fight of the year so far and I hope the next one is just as good. Both of them are superbly good fighters, though overall Frankie has more skill and stamina, Maynard has the power. Could be a close fight again, but my money is on Frankie outclassing him for 5 rounds this time.
