Frankie Edgar: "Ring Rust" won't be an issue at UFC 136

Edgar shared thoughts about a host of topics related to his training camp coming to the trilogy bout with Gray Maynard, including the possible "ring rust" effect. According to Edgar, who declared he's not of the "ring rust" believers, having two back-to-back training camps for "The Bully" Maynard ensured that "The Answer" will be in the best shape possible this Saturday night.
Gray Maynard is the only man to ever defeat Frankie Edgar, who remained unbeaten ever since.

Just hoping for a decisive win, either way, so we can stop thinking about these two for awhile. They've been holding up the stacked LW division for far too long.
I agree. They have been holding up the division. I don't dislike Edgar and he has difinitely grown on me but I would like to see Maynard win. Edgar is similar to Dominick Cruz.....You're guaranteed a 5 round fight most of the time. Maynard is a finisher and In my opinion It's always that much more exciting when your champ is a finisher.
Frankie is one of those dudes you look at in high school and pick on him....then you wish you hadn't!!!!
"The Bully" will be beaten once more.
Edgar by decision. Too bad Frankie's punching power is not better.
I would prefer to see Edgar win as Maynard is such a cry baby and can't handle a draw, but whoever wins there's some brilliant match ups down the road in the LW division.
I don't think training camps cancel out ring rust. No matter how many you had or how good they were, you weren't in the ring.
Whoever wins, I hope they come out of the bout healthy so we don't have to wait another 10 months for a title fight.
