Wow Mir has some good points,I liked his idea on more fighters refusing to train together rather than fight.
Yeah, man. Mir is always a good interview; intelligent and insightful. I'm sure more fighters are thinking of this too. Mir vs. Nelson is a tough fight to call IMO, they're pretty evenly matched, all around. But, I'm a Mir fan, and I'll take Frank any ole day of the week, I don't see a finish in this fight, although, I see Mir taking a Decision.
wow that reported sucks hard she was so rude
I agree....there should be none of that queer friend shit. This is fighting people not a circle jerk. I like Mir in this one but he has to watch those guns on nelson. You can never underestimate that meatball, hes a good ass fighter.
LOL!! This interviewer is GREEN! Look at 2:41 Mir's face when this Chick cuts him off! He is like WTF are you doing!?
good point on mir, i mean even brothers fight i dont see any problem of fighting a teammate besides they know your game but fighting a friend shouldnt be a problem this is a bout whos the best int he world
is it just me or was this interviewer a bitch? judging nelsons heart filled performance against JDS and ignorantly saying that without trash talk the pre fight interviews are "boring". get another job bitch.
Definitely a horrible interviewer. Apparently fights are boring if there is no shit talking between opponents. She must love Chael and Tito.
Agreed, she's ****in terrible, She got caught out at the end too by not watching TUF, Not all fights need a storyline, genuine fans will be interested in this match up.
I know he's not a particularly popular guy with a lot of MMA fans, but I flat out like the guy. I think he's a very intelligent and thoughtful guy. He always has something interesting to say and always has great insight and analysis, into the sport. He's also a great on the microphone, as color commentator.
As to their fight - I like Big Country. I have a lot of respect for him and this won't be an easy fight for FM, but I'll pick and pull for Mir. He is a whole lot better than many give him credit for. He's great on the ground, his stand-up has improved immensely (IMO), he's added some much needed size and strength to his frame and he packs some wallop in his feet, knees, elbows and fists.
I hope FM wins - he'd be a great match-up for either Cain or JDS and a tough fight for any in the division; including the two big men he's lost to; Carwin and Lesnar.
guess im not the only person who thought that interviewer sucked. i cant stand these people from the media that know nothing about mma, this b*tch should be fired, let ariel do the interviews.
I really like Frank Mir, he's just a straight-up honest guy, doesn't sugar-coat shit for the sake of sensitive pussies who are going to call him ****y. He's a world-class fighter and he knows it, and extremely thoughtful, introspective, intelligent, and gives great interviews. And I'm thumbs-upping him all ****ing day when it comes to his Randy-Machida prediction.
