Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Forrest Griffin shared thoughts about this weekend's rematch with Shogun Rua, and the experience of fighting in Brazil. Griffin revealed he would like to fight in Las Vegas or at least in California, and that being in Brazil for UFC 134 is nothing but a worst case scenario. Forrest Griffin will look to extend his win streak against Rua, after defeating Rich Franklin in the co-main event of UFC 126.

Forrest is a character. After you read his book you enjoy his personality so much more. Hope he pulls off the "W" this weekend.

I'm glad to hear he's thinking of travelling and training with different people, after his last comments about feeling like he isnt getting better I think that's exactly what he needs

Forrest is awesome and I hope he pulls off the win here again. He may be trying to make Shogun underestimate him for all we know by the way he is talking. Fighters watch and listen to interviews so who knows. Shogun is awesome too I just really want this for forrest so he can have respect for his first win.

Oh I understand that but he most certainly listens by interpretation. Of coarse he may have a bad interpreter.

Is it just me, or does Forest seem hopped up on pain killers or something in that interview?... He is slurring his words and seems to be creeping out Ariel big time...

I think that Ariel's presence lowers IQ by at least 50 points, the fighters he interviews seem to do just fine with others but when Ariel shows up watch out everyone loses their minds and starts talking like George W.Bush.

Since you can barely spell, you probably shouldn't comment on other people's intelligence.

Ariel telling Forrest he has nothing to gain by beating Shogun? Wtf is he smoking? the guy is a complete idiot. Forrest has everything to gain and nothing to lose. Damn near 95% of fans think Shogun is going to steamroll Forrest because he's in better shape and has less injuries for all we know. That ariel guys is just a real moron. Anyways, I liked Forrests responces. The guy knows whats best for him and is doing whats in his best interests. Good luck to both fighters come saturday but im expecting Shogun to murder him in the first round.
