Yeah... We know... We know... Heard it a thousand times. How much he would LOVE to face the top competition. Put your money where your mouth is Fedor. You don't have a belt that anybody is gunning for. Lesnar has got it. Good luck.

You really don't like Fedor. You are very prejudgemental. Why Brock, Mir and other fighters willing to fight Fedor do not come to SF? They are happy where they are, so is Fedor. It should be both ways. It is the same as sitting in your own house and telling Fedor "Come here and fight me. Oh, you are scarred, you are chicken".

Because Fedor is the one in a company that has far less fighters that are actually quality competition. That's why people tell Fedor to come get his fights if he really wants to fight the best. He's the one in the lower-ranked company.

dont listen to any of these idiots Ston3 you are 100% correct. All this fat boy does is duck top competition and then have his management say hes not gona fight them or they arnnt giving him enough money. Dana White offered this guy 30 mill for 3 fights and he turned it down. He wont even fight the top competition (Alistair Overeem) in his own shitty little organization, StrikeFARCE. All he does is duck fights Brock Lesner only ducks punches, unless they are from Shane Carwin then he just gets hit.

it doesnt matter what fedor wants, its what his management wants/does. i guess you missed the court order that don king put on his boxer when he tried to do what he wanted to do... contracts are a bitch, especially international ones.

UFC contracts are the reason many fighters have left in the past. Some have come back but you're f*$ked if you're gonna try make money anywhere else while in the UFC.

I was there this weekend and got the opportunity to both meet Fedor and shake his hand. I even got to hear him tell me 'Thank you' in English, which was pretty cool. I do believe that it's likely he understands a lot more English than he commonly lets on(as has been stated by Couture, I believe it was, not Fedor. And as is commonly stated about Anderson Silva.).

Either way, if you want to question his contracts/fight choices, that's one thing. But Fedor was really really great to the fans. I was lucky enough to meet him before the fights during the meet-n-greet and autograph session, but a lot of people weren't due to bumper-to-bumper traffic along all the highways(was such bad traffic that the entire event started like an hour late.).

I sat a few seats behind Fedor for the fights and can't tell you how cool he was to everyone. He was bugged non-stop by fans the entire event including several times over and over by some people and he treated every fan with absolute respect. At a few points when a bunch came at once, he even had Vadim get up so that people could take pictures as if they were sitting next to him for the fights, etc.

About who would win what, say whatever you want, but from personal experience, Fedor is an absolute class act.

Try watching the video first. That was in the text summary of the article, not what he actually said.

Fedor said I would love to fight him,I respect him alot ,and although he has some holes in his techniques, he has tremendous heart, tremendous knowledge, and enormous drive, and thats what I respect alot, and I would love to fight the guy.

you are just a pathetic hater that believe in hype that dana white creates

you must be very DUMB to hate revolutionary athlete like fedor and praise balls of some aerobic instructor that tells only bad words about a fighter that almost everybody in his organization regard him as THE BEST IN THE WORLD = bjpen, couture, shogun,st pierre, mir, and recently anderson silva and many more outside ufc.

Imagine Brock giving his seminar. What is he going to show? First requirenment - you have to be very big and have a strong skull. Second - you have to wait when you opponent gets tired until that happens, rely on your size and skull. What if he does not get tired? Ahhh, wait for my fight with Cain, until then the seminar is over.

Did I ever tell you trying to read your comments gives me brain-damage 666? The UFC does have their title where their mouth is Doofy. And Fedor is in Jokeforce because he thinks he thinks he might have a chance to be successful there. If he was a champion, he'd go for the best. IMHO.

carwin Brock was supposed to show us 2 of the best fighters on eart, or at least 2 of the best HW's on earth. All i seen was a guy who can swing for 3 and a half minutes and a guy who was lucky his opponent gassed. In p4p terms they bottom of the tree as neither have a solid all round game, as they have major holes in their games. So yes they are overrated. Dont believe the hype.

There are some good fighters now in the UFC HW division but dont believe they are on a level with the other divisions because they are nowhere near them. Every other champion has an all round game. HW division has many a steroid freak with little skill as champ. Sure he good wrestler but he poor overall. JDS who they been shouting about couldnt finish Nelson even though he had him rocked a few times and even got caught himself in the fight. he didnt mix it up much and also very 1 dimensional. cain is probably the most well rounded HW they have, and if Brock beats him I'll give him some credit, but atmo defo overrated.

Carwin and Lesnar are both physical specimins. Carwin hits so hard he doesnt really have to do anything else. What brock showed was he had a chin and he had heart. Carwin is young and he will come back from that fight. When you say someone is overrated you have to have someone better than them to compair it with. There is no one better. These guys lined up to fight the best fighters they could unlike Fedor going with Strikeforce.

Bottom line Lesnar is a big Randy Couture. He wrestles, hits hard, and to his credit has learned a few submissions. He has been tested over and over for steroids. Dont hate because you are not as big as him. The guy produces the best fights given to him and to his credit I havent seen a boring fight yet.

In my opinion, Fedor is not the P4P best fighter in the world currently. However, he is the best fighter ever. He has absolutely no holes in his game. The funny thing about him is his shape. I'm sure his fat percentage is way lower than one would guess. But what if he toned down and cut some weight and dropped to 205? He'd be raping everyone in that division!

I was kind of hoping that he brought it up himself, which would have indicated that he may have actually been interested in making it happen. However, having the question pressed upon him really leaves him no other option but to say yes... I mean he is considered one of the best and so is Lesnar. Not to say he doesn't honestly want to fight him, but the point remains the same either way.

On another totally irrelevant note, I hate how his shirt got ruined by those big ugly "Clinch Gear" block letters. Its a nice shirt, but they could have either been more subtle with their branding or used a font style that blended better with the design.

Fedor has always been one of my LEAST favorite fighters of all time, but after watching the way Anderson Silva finished Sonnen over the weekend, I kind of have a different opinion about Fedor now since he has had a few comebacks of his own in his days. Only the great ones / true CHAMPIONS are able to stay composed under pressure and are able to overcome adversity or make comebacks similar to Anderson Silva's or Fedor in the past.

I think deep down he really wants to fight Lesnar and I hope they can make that fight happen before it's too late.

Overeem vs Fedor would be a huge MMA fight, but I do not think they will go to the ground willingly and with that I mean that it would be a stand up war until someone gets drop.

I think Fedor could win against Lesnar if he explodes like he did against Tim Silvya, if he catches Lesnar he would could finish the job, I have never seen Fedor totally gased out like Carwin, but if Lesnar takes it to the ground it would be really difficult for Fedor to pull a sub on him, he has become really good at staying on top of his opponents without leaving openings for subs, and he does create a lot of power in short spaces, but so far we are only able to speculate I do not think we will ever see it happening...

Fedor and Shane have both put more abuse in to their bodies over the years just working manual labor than Fedor has over his career. Lesnar was taking more damage in a day in retard-wrestling, than Fedor has taken over his career.

Age is just one of the many empty excuses used to explain away why Pride fighters and Fedor don't look anything like they did once they step up in competition.

Overeem has better striking, but Fedor has a better chin and he goes for a kill, Overeem is not good under presure.

Lesnar can take him to the ground, but than what? Is he going to keep Fedor on the ground with his weight? Once Lesnar tries to pull something, Fedor is going to attack with a sub, just like he did with everybody else.

Lesnar could have fought Fedor years ago, but wanted to juice up and pretend fight when fedor was #1 in the world. He hasn't a fraction of skill that fedor has and never will have. Take aay years of steroid use and he wouldnt have all that size and strength either. So i guess Brock is a fake a phoney and a farce.

Fedor definitely is the best HW ever. Nobody can match his record. That said, I don't believe he is currently the best HW actively competing. I would consider him top 6 for sure, but the HW world is in such a volatile state right now, its hard to tell who really ranks where. I would say its a toss up among Overeem, Fedor, Brock, Shane, JDS, and Cain for number one spot. What Brock and Carwin lack in polished skill, the more than compensate with wrestling, size, and power. The rest have outstanding skills along with enough power to put somebody to sleep. Can't wait for the coming months to see who ends up at the top of the UFC HW heap, and maybe if we are all lucky we will see Overeem hash it out with with Fedor(assuming Overeem beats Werdum in the match that SHOULD happen)
