Top Heavyweight contender Fabricio Werdum, who defeated Roy Nelson in his UFC 143 octagon return, looks back on the victory, and discusses his strategy for the bout. Werdum explains that he's always been confident in his striking abilities, and says that the fight went exactly as planned.

    Werdum Striking look way more sharper!

    i knew he would win i just didn't knew he was going to be

    that good last night specially vs a guy like Nelson

    Mir has no chin. If he comes out strong he might KO Werdum but if the fight goes more than a minute I think Werdum wins by either stunning and then submitting Mir or possibly even getting a TKO. Could be wrong though. Mir made a hell of a come back in his last fight.

    yes, to me it is not smart to play the sub game with Mir after seeing how easily and quickly he came back to sub Big Nog in their fight.

    He's always been confident in his striking? Wouldn't know it if you watched the Overeem fight. He did look great against big/not so big country though.
