That knock out was so surreal. It brought a tear to my eye and gave me an erection as well.

Yeah, Rampage...never lost in the UFC (I don't count Griffin) and he is the first undisputed LHW Champ when you unified the belts after beating Hendo. If they (the UFC) sold that aspect of his record more his name would crop up more in the p4p list....that was a big part of his grievance with Zuffa.

Rampage was less experienced then and he had poor training because Pride were paying him peanuts. Anyway, GSP lost to Matt Hughes...what is your point?!

But Shogun beat Rampage so how does your argument add up? The only reason Shogun didn't become LHW champ before now is because of his injuries.

Shogun is also the first true champion of both Pride and UFC as Big Nog only got a intrem belt.

    Exactly what I mean...

If you read my earlier post you would see I mentioned Rampage took the Pride LHW Championship from Hendo. Hendo was the last Pride LHW Champ you douchey!!?? Rampage was also the current UFC champ so he was the first and ONLY unified champ of the two divisions....I rest my case.

I always thought Lyoto was a very modest champion. He's still a fantastic fighter and I hope he doesn't let this fight affect his confidence.

True. Before Rua, Lyoto was being struck once every 2.5 rounds, and that is unreal. His striking percentage was probably second only to Anderson. If he throws a strike, it almost always lands. If someone throws a strike at him, he almost always avoids it and they hit nothing but air. Lyoto isn't overrated, Rua is just incredible as well.

Lyoto beat BJ, he beat Franklin, he beat a lot of devastating fighters and made it all look easy. Out-boxed Rashad, out GNP'd Tito... Thiago came in on a what, 13-0 win streak? Knocking everybody out. And he had no business being in there with Lyoto. Lyoto knocked him out 4 times when he beat him in the first round.

If you watch the BJ fight that was actually a very controversial decision...I thought BJ won...

wow....that machida era ended fast. it actually ended for me when he "won" the first match against shogun. Shogun had his number for a second time.....this time he wasn't messin around since he knew what machida was all about. ...sorry machida, there's nothing the judges can say when you get mounted and knocked the f*k out.
