An emotional Tito Ortiz, who picked up his first victory since 2006 by submitting Ryan Bader in the opening round, discusses the match-up and talks about what the win means to he and his team.  Ortiz says he feels like a new man and explains that he wanted to do what Jon Jones couldn't.

ditto except i didnt pick him cause i thought he'd lose but deep down I wanted him to win and he proved me wrong! When he did his trademark graveyard move at the end that just threw me over the edge with exceitement and nostalgia all at the smae time. I really want to see him succeed he's the main reason I was hooked on the UFC back when it started out. Chuffed to see him still perform against top opponents he never took much damage in the UFC and has a chin of steel like dan henderson, contrary to the other legends wanderlei and liddell.

Me three, i was never a big Tito fan, but i knew he had a big role in MMA history, i surely didnt expect him to win here, but when he dropped Bader, and won few seconds later, i haven't felt that good about a fighter winning since Fedor vs Rodgers, im really happy for him, and im a fan of him now.

wow , you first, did you win a million dollars?... everybody knew lol he was going to win, yeah rigggght lol, but anyways, i'm happy for tito, and tito's family, you guys just don't understand, injures are injures, he's getting older, his body isn't the same nomore. but i do understand he has alot of enemies that doesn't want him to success, but alot of enemies that he has now, that's because of his mouth, but you have to feel for the guy, he's a human being, and he was under alot of pressure tonight, and he won, i'm happy for him,

    for fight tito

He never said that. He said, Boxing had Ali, WWE/WWF had Hulk Hogan & UFC had Tito Ortiz. He was the UFC poster boy for many years & He held PPV records for many years too. He deserved this & he looks like he's back. UFC was the one that won tonight

its ironic that out of the three original LHW's, randy, chuck, and tito, tito is the one who gets to continue his career while the other two were knocked into retirment. it must suck for chuck to watch tito get that win and continue his career.

Randy wasn't "knocked into retirement". He said before the fight that it was his last. If he wanted to he could fight again tomorrow. As for Chuck, he knows he can still KTTFO.

tito is a man of many excuses, yes maybe he"s had some surgreys but thats not a good enuff excuse, 1st fight he has won since 2005, and imo he was out classed in most those fights.and i think he just got lucky with bader.watch next fight he will lose and start crying like a sissy blaming it on his neck or back...

im impressed, he virtually destroyed bader. tito has the chin, the size, the heart, now all he needs to do is keep the motivation goin and keep workin on being well rounded, i still think he can be a force, never been a huge fan of him but if he keeps gettin better he could possibly work to the top 5 or even a title shot again

Titio deserves credit for coming back against a tough opponent.

We shall see how far Tito can go in his division--it will be interesting.

There is only one thing.....I can't stand listening to him talk. He is a total ego case--it's all about me.

I will just plug my ears and look forward to seeing him fight next.
