Ed Soares Sees Similarities Between Big Nog And Valasquez

Despite being the manager of several of the best fighters in UFC, in the Nogueira Brothers, Lyoto Machida and Anderson Silva amongst others, it seems this doesn't stop Ed Soares from eyeing more talent within the UFC.

Showing there were no hard feelings since Cain Valasquez demolished his fighter, and Pride legend, Antonio Minitauro Nogueira, Soares lavished praise upon Valasquez, even comparing him to Big Nog himself;

"It's a breath of fresh air to see a guy like Cain moving up the ranks," Soares said. "I see a lot of similarities in him and Nogueira as far as their work ethic and how humble they are. He's a great guy, and congratulations to him. He fought a great fight and came in with a great strategy."

Valasquez is expected to face off against Brock Lesnar, should Frank Mir or Shane Carwin be unable to make a July match after their meeting in March at UFC 111.
