Ed Soares: Anderson Silva can beat anyone from Welterweight to HeavyweightPosted on August 2, 2011, 05:32 AM by Anton Gurevich
"Anderson Silva has a chance to beat anyone in the world. I don't care what weight class you're in, you know. It's not an easy fight for anyone, whether it's heavyweight, light heavyweight, middleweight, and I believe if he really wanted to, he could probably even make welter if he had to. I don't know if he can or he would, but sometimes I believe he can." - Quote via BloodyElbow.com
Anderson Silva's manager Ed Soares shared his thoughts about Anderson Silva and the potential Superfight with reigning UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre. According to Soares, Silva is still interested to fight the French-Canadian, who will defend his belt against Nick Diaz at UFC 135. Soares revealed that Silva would fight GSP at Middleweight, but may also consider an option of a Catchweight bout between Welterweight and Middleweight. In his next bout, "The Spider" will square off against Yushin Okami, looking to extend his amazing record of consecutive title defenses to 9.
