Don't call it a comeback: Shane del Rosario prepares for UFC 146 (Photo Gallery)
Posted on May 12, 2012, 12:39 PM by Anton GurevichOn May 26th, unbeaten heavyweight prospect Shane del Rosario will finally make his long-awaited UFC debut, facing Stipe Miocic on the main card of UFC 146: Dos Santos vs. Mir fight card in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Shane del Rosario represents Team Oyama (Orange County, California), and is widely regarded as one of the most promising heavyweights in the sport today. Del Rosario is 11-0 in his career, with 8 KO/TKO and 3 Submission victories. In his most recent bout, SDL submitted Lavar Johnson with a perfectly-executed armbar, in what was without a doubt the biggest, and perhaps the most important victory of his Mixed Martial Arts career.
Two months after beating Johnson, del Rosario was involved in a serious car accident, when an allegedly drunk driver hit his car from behind. Twenty-eight year old fighter suffered from a herniated disc, facing uncertainty about the future of his career. Shane del Rosario will look to bounce back from adversity against Stipe Miocic, who's currently on a two-fight winning streak inside the Octagon.

Del Rosario is machine, from what he has shown so far in his short career he can win and finish you anywhere. Hope he keeps and improves his skillset in the UFC and keeps the hype he earned.
