Dominick Cruz will defend his title against Demetrius Johnson at UFC on Versus 6

Dominick Cruz will be the first Champion in UFC history to defend his title on free tv. According to the official announcement on UFC.com, Cruz will square off against the "Mighty Mouse" Demetrius Johnson at the relatively stacked UFC on Versus 6, which will take place at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C on October 1st:
Following his exciting five round win over Urijah Faber in July that allowed him to avenge the only loss of his pro career, UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz will jump right back into the fire on Saturday, October 1st, as he defends his crown against number one contender Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. The bout, the first championship fight aired on free cable television since the UFC 75 match between Rampage Jackson and Dan Henderson in 2007, will be televised on Versus.
The fight will mark Dominick Cruz's second appearance inside the Octagon, and the fourth defense of his WEC/UFC Banamweight title he won from the hands of Brian Bowles, back at WEC 47. The challenger, Demetrius Johnsoon, will enter the cage with an unbeaten record of 10-0, which includes notable victories over Kid Yamamoto and the former Champion Miguel Torres.
UFC on Versus 6 will also feature a high-profile bouts between Charlie Brenneman and Anthony Johnson.

I'm sure the UFC probablyjust wants to expose Dom. Cruz to more people. I don't see it as a bad move
its a very smart move since every1 knows mighty mouse has no chance. The guy is like 5'2, Cruz is better in every aspect of the game and will destroy him. The big news here is Bowles vs Faber!!

Demetrious Johnson is not undefeated he is 10-1
he lost to Brad Picket last year at WEC 48.
I have to disagree I think he will have a chance hes fast enough.
Also disagree, Mighty Mouse was very impressive in his win over Torres, I believe he is the fastest guy in the UFC with his wrestling.
i see Dom winning the fight, but i think it'll be much closer than what people are making it out to be
No chance?? whatever u smokin' is Hella Strong !!! Mighty Mouse ALWAYS has a chance... and he's been making a STRONG case for himself! I don't know what fights u been watching but if u think Mighty is not a problem for Cruz you're delusional. He's 5'2 but he took it to Torres! Big time..
