Bantamweight Champion Dominick Cruz, who will put his title on the line against Urijah Faber at UFC 132, discusses his opponent, as well as his expectations for the bout.  Cruz plans to force Faber to "fight his fight," and says "The California Kid" won't be able to adjust to his style.

UFC 132 is set to take place July 2nd from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Cruz vs. Faber II will headline, making them the first WEC fighters to square off in the main event of a UFC fight card.

Cruz's nickname should be "twinkle toes" cause he loves to dance around.

I agree, Faber seems to confident about beating Cruz because he already beat him.

But its clear Dominick is not even the same fighter who fought back then.

Dominick outwrestle Faber back then , now he is even better, and he has add some very good striking not to mention his footwork and cardio on another level.

I see Cruz controlling the pace and the entire fight, picking Faber apart on the stand up and Mixing it up by taking Faber a few times at will , taking a very clear unanimous decision ! 50-44

or even a TKO in the late rounds.

Cruz got one takedown and got choked out immediately. If you want to call that "outwrestling" Faber... whatever dude.

Cruz really doesn't have any advantages over Faber except his reach and movement. He has good unorthodox striking, but any advantage that gives him is negated by Faber's huge advantage in punching power. Cruz knows that Faber is the better wrestler and submission fighter so he calls the stand-up his greatest weakness because it is the most even.

The only person ever to dominate Faber in the manner you are describing is Jose Aldo, and while Cruz is a good fighter, he is most definitely not Jose Aldo. I'm not ruling out the possibility that Cruz will dance his way to a split decision, but it certainly won't be a dominating performance.

I'm picking Faber to stop him in the 3rd or 4th round either by ground and pound or a choke if he decides to give up his back.

yea Dominick moves nicely and his fast, his like a faster version of Machida, Faber cant square upon him, he also gotta be light on the fight and cut Dominicks foot work, like road range cutting people off on the road lol i just hope Faber doest stand in the middle and watches Dominick dance around him
