Matt Hughes in his prime would have eaten diego like a mean dreamcatcher. Unfortunately gotta say I've got Diego taking this by pretty fast TKO. Matt's chin isn't what it used to be...

I don't understand your analogy about the dreamcatcher, but it probably is likely that hughes in his prime would have won.

    Now, probably not.

Dreamcatchers are meant to catch bad dreams/nightmares (Diego's nickname), kind of like a fly in a spider web.

I don't know, I got Hughes taking this one but whenever Diego fights its usually a pretty good show. If he explodes like he did with Guida that would be awesome.

Neither Hughes nor Diego have the skills to compete in the UFC anymore at a high level.

Diego's striking is terrible .. run in throw 2 or 3 wild strikes and go for a takedown (wash, rinse, repeat) .. if Hughes can't beat him he is indeed washed up (IMO)
