hhahaha how many times will Diego be a "totally different fighter" until UFC just cuts him? He's a parody of himself, especially his stare-downs I mean, Diego, do you really gotta be all tough each fight? You know how silly you looked against BJ Penn?
All mean and tough guy and then he splits open your head and it's a totally different picture. That's KARMA man, karma. Get your act together before you get cut from the UFC.
The only nightmare now is your next fight, if you lose it you're out.
Remember when he was undefeated and on top of the world? It seems like he is so far removed from that. I hope he can string together some wins. I want to see him with some confidence again.
Fickle, fickle fans... There is a reason Diego was in there with BJ, who is arguably the greatest lightweight of all time. No shame in losing that one... Then he shifts weight classes and loses to a guy that will likely be the division champion sooner than later at welterweight. This is a guy that won 6 in a row in the UFC, defeating guys like Kenny Florian, Nick Diaz, and Karo Parisyan before losing two against the #2 welterweight in the world, Jon Fitch, and the current #1 contender Josh Koshcheck. Then Sanchez rebounded strong winning 4 more in a row, including match-ups with Joe Stevenson and Clay Guida, before being awarded a title shot. Now while he has lost his last two, against respectable opponents, he has been in the position before. Say what you want, but it is misguided to count him out. Sanchez has proved to be one of the most talented and exciting fighters of the current generation.
Wow... I wish I could hit sharp a couple more times. I agree with this comment 100%. On another note, I also agree that he acts a little foolish leading up to a fight, but it seems to work for him. The guy is still a legitimate contender and I thoroughly enjoy watching most of his fights.
Yeah, you can't say a bad thing about him, weird or not. Whether you love him or hate him, he's a great fighter who is just coming off a couple of tough losses against top world class guys. There's no quit in him, which is hard to find, and he'll be back for sure.
hahaa the fickle fans are always in full swing here on lowkick, good thing with have users like Joey_santosus. this guy tells i how it is. i couldnt agree more Sanchez is a monster, and as much as MMA fans hate Jackson, he sure can help fighters re invent themselves. i think the nightmare has a perfect style to beat up on Thiago.
Diego is a great fighter dont get me wrong but at 155 acouple fighters deserved that against B.J before him the thing I dont like is why Diego left Greg Jackson's camp he said he left because G.S.P was getting all the attention I would love to see Diego fight Nate Diaz at 155 or even 170 I dont think Nate is as good as Nick but I think Nate is atleast as good as Nick was back then so it would be good to show the evolution of Diego
Diego needs to really get over his self-esteem issues, I know what most of you will say "Diego is the most confident guy in the world" but no that is all just a front and you can see that by how he handles adversity. He doubts himself so much that as soon as he loses he feels worthless, which is why he changes weight.
I hope that Greg can really help Diego with his mental game as its his weakest part which would also loosen him up, Diego is one of the tensest guys in MMA when he fights which is why he lacks power. Robocop punches only works if you are actually a cyborg.
A Diego Sanchez down at 155 that lets Jackson do his thinking for him and can get the confidence to relax and use technique in a fight will be a force for sure.
Him getting cut never crossed my mind. He is a good fighter. I agree with the guy above 100% also. The only people he has lost to in his entire career and the best fighters out there, except Hathaway, but Hathaway is undefeated and will be a force to be reckoned with. Sanchez is good. Give him his props.

Diego is weird!
You forgot to type "SUPER DUPER" between "Is" & "Weird". He's about one lost away from going Mike Tyson in the octagon.

Fans hate Jackson?
lmao oh yes MMA fans hate greg jackson, never heardd anybody say "greg jacksons school of lay and pray"?
They hate Jackson??
he should have stayed with them before but now it may be a little too late. Paulo thiago is the real shit and if he losses it he might get cut

diego is back learning the expert technique of "fighting not to lose" rather than "fighting to win"
