Dennis Hallman: Maybe Dana White didn't like the color

According to Hallman, he lost a bet to one of his fighting teammates, and as punishment, he had to wear a super-tight-extra-small blue Speedo's during the fight with Brian Ebersole at UFC 133.
Hallman's outfit caused the UFC President Dana White to label the incident as "disgusting", promising MMA fans around the world that such thing will never happen again inside the Octagon.
Dennis Hallman reacted on Dana White's comments by simply saying "maybe he didn't like the blue", but had a more in-depth message to everyone coming out in critique for his outfit:
"People are sick, disgusting perverts. They'll break the film down frame-by-frame so they can get a little ball action. That's kind of strange. They have problems.
I'm not regretful. It's not like I'm the first guy to wear Speedos. Maybe I'm the first guy in the modern UFC era to do it. Other than that, there's nothing for anybody to make a big deal about."
Thirty-five year old Hallman is currently 43-14-2 in his MMA career, and 3-4 in the UFC. Hallman made his Octagon debut with a victory over Matt Hughes at UFC 29.

I can honestly say I didn't give a shit about what pants he was wearing. I mean .... ye, they were tight, but didn't bother me. I can't even believe that this is a serious issue that people feel disgusted about lol.
Completely 100% disagree very strongly with Hallman. I was literally embarrassed for the sport of MMA when I had to watch that. My girlfriend and I were disgusted and I couldn't wait for the fight to be over. MMA fans should never have to hope a fight ends quickly because of some idiot's attire. It was absolutely disgusting, and to be honest I was surprised that someone didn't stop him from fighting in that crap - especially when he entered the middle of the octagon and starting stretching out, purposely putting his stuff on display.

Oh I didn't realize a guy without a shirt on is considered naked. Where are you from? What is the difference between my old pic (posing in an MMA gym after a hard session) and posing after a workout? Both are hard work and led to me bettering myself. Just because (I assume) you aren't happy with your work or shape doesn't mean I have to not be happy with mine.

I don't 'need' to either, but why not show a pic of myself on a website where I share my personal views and opinions on MMA? Should I just have a picture of me playing tennis? Riding a bike? It's personal preference just as your picture is. I do think showing a pic of myself at least being in shape does say a bit more about me than some random pic though - at least people know that the comment they are reading doesn't come from some lazy slob that only acts like he knows what it is like to work hard.

He won't get cut and everyone is overreacting, especially Dana White. Does he refuse to watch old Wanderlei or Anderson fights? Everyone needs to grow up and get ahold of your sexuality, a fit dude in a Speedo shouldn't make you feel THAT uncomfortable, unless there's just something there you're not willing to admit to yourself...

I agree that Akiyama should be held to the same standards as all the other fighters - he isn't a legend like Wanderlei or Big Nog, so if he doesn't bring it then he should be cut. Not only that, but to be honest he has the most retarded gameplans of any MMA fighter. He comes in and wants to bang with Vitor Belfort - what a moron. He used and ONLY used a looping right hand against Bisping instead of coming in with a diverse game plan.

My favorite Bas outfit was the lavender boxer shorts. You gotta have big balls to wear those to a fight.
I thought it was funny....At the time i figured it was sponsor related (showed up to fight and those were the shorts provide by sponsor)but losing a bet makes sense.
Dana has issues lol but the "getting those shorts out as afst as possible " bonus was funny too.
On a similar note I didn't hear anyone complaining about Tito,s shorts at the weigh in. Those didn't leave much to the imagination lol
