"It's good that (Weidman) is not afraid, because you know what? I'm not afraid either. I trust in my jiu-jitsu skills. I know anything can happen, but I have more expereince, I fought in jiu-jitsu for many years, and I train with the best guys. So, I know that's my advantage in the fight. ... I think now days, the fans are much more educated about the fighters, and they know how tough people are. Bisping has a great name, he's a tough guy, but Weidman, people don't know him so well, but they know he's the real deal, he's really tough. So, I think it's pretty much going to put me in the same spot if I can win this fight."

I agree with Maia, and he probably wishes he was still fighting Bisping.
I wish he was figthing Bisping...this weidman guy is no joke at all...have a weird feeling for this one.
I've never seen Weidman fight actually. From what I've heard, he's a really good fighter, but looking at the names he has faced... I can't help but wonder how the betting lines have Maia as the underdog.
Close adcc match with Andre Galvao says a lot...If Andre cant sub him I doubt Maia can specially while being punched in the face....Go Maia!!!
Weidman is a massively dangerous opponent and a must avoid.Very tough matchup for Maia.Weidman will probably be challenging for the title soon if all goes well for him.Intruiging fight
