I'm a huge Wanderlei Silva fan, but that would be a very tough fight for him. He's just coming off a knee surgery, and lets face it, he's not the same Wanderlei he once was. Now Dana White's throwing him in with a 185 Vitor in his prime? Give him some warm up fights first and see if the knee surgery has improved his game.
I agree with everything you just wrote. That said, Wanderlei showed a lot of technical improvement and patience against Bisbing. I think Wandy has finally realized that winning might be more important than the show. I expect to see an improved Silva when he steps back in the cage.
Doesn't dana always say (even though it's not true at all) that the ufc puts together the fights people want? Leben wants Wanderlei, Wanderlei wants Leben, and fans of both want to see it. Seems pretty obvious what to do.
