They think that Brock is going to be a part of the next Wrestlemania now and all this... One theory I read tho basically said that it was likely an attempt to set-up a potential story line if Brock lost, so that the WWE could try to bait him into coming back.

brock will be back and will still dominate most opponents in the hw division, he's still in the top 5 I think, he just needs to be patient and work on striking and striking defense, but his wrestling and strength will get him back to top contender and maybe another title shot
